Where on Earth can I find something like this goth/alt/punk style clothing item?

So my teenager REALLY wants a skirt or dress or something like the one in the photo, very wide hole string vest / crochet type thing. This is for a very specific and unusual prom outfit! It probably comes under the heading of alternative, goth, punk. I have searched online for ages to no avail. The only thing I could find that came close is one of those crochet cover-up beach skirts but that really doesn't cut it! I don't even know what search terms to use tbh. Anyone out there with a punky, gothy, alternative teen who might have any ideas? I'd be very grateful! 😁

If you type goth, alternative, Boho etc in Facebook search bar, there are lots of groups which sell clothing like this.

Not rude at all, you could be right! Although the item found by @Fgfgfg looks very very like it... Unfortunately it's 72 euros and in Lithuania! 😭I am still wondering about making (no idea how!) or finding someone who could make it, macrame is probably easier than crochet, but don't remember seeing any patterns that include such a basic square wide hole design...

I thought of crochet place mats, but with the middles cut out! You end up with a big empty square.
Sounds expensive, but they seem to be about £1.20 each on Etsy. Could the squares be linked up into something?

Could you ask on any local neighbourhood sites such as Nextdoor if anyone would make something similar for you? Or any aunties or grandmas of DDs friends? I can't imagine it would be too difficult for someone who is skilled in crochet and the materials won't cost much!

You could buy some black netting and shape to teen specifications?
Try searching for black tactical net / packing net / aviary net etc.

My grandma used to crochet very similar garments for me 40 years ago 😃.

You just need anyone halfway nifty with a crochet hook.

Wow, thank you all so much! You've given me more help than I could ever have thought possible! There are quite a few links here that will almost certainly fit the bill, just need to narrow it down. I was seriously considering buying some black cord and rediscovering macrame as it would probably be quite a basic square knot pattern, but I don't have much spare time so if there's something under £30 that we could buy I'd be more likely to go for that. Also been trying to think of anyone I know who crochets (other than professional crafters) but coming up with nothing. But not to worry, there is definitely something here that will work.
