I hate it! AIBU?

Is this as bad as I think it is?

I was told they would be super-subtle baby lights. I explained that long hospital admissions mean that I can't get to the hairdressers often so I wanted to avoid anything that might leave visible regrowth.

I am so upset. I hate the big tiger-like stripes.

I also booked in for a cut and colour. The hairdresser told me (once the colour was on) that a) she couldn't do short cuts but I could book in with someone more senior at additional cost, and b) she didn't have any time left to do the cut.

So 3 hours at the hairdressers, no cut, and a colour I hate.

I am known for getting over emotional about the hairdressers so AIBU?
I'll pay to sort it out but I hate it.

It looks lovely now. Well done for going back! I also think the red will fade quick and that will make it look even less contrasting.

It looks so much better. If you wanted to tone it down a bit more you could always put a semi permanent over the top- a light brown would blend it all well I think (though I’m no expert!).

That miles better and actually unless you want the style changed or your hair shorter I don’t think it needs a cut.

ifi saw you in a shop or something I’d think you had perfectly nice hair

I would want a full refund. Regardless of the bad highlights how can a hairdresser only know how to cut longer hair? Was it a trainee?
