I've found that roll-neck sweaters are jolly useful.

Cant stand things round my neck sadly .

I've had RF treatment on my neck and some days I think it's made a difference and others it seems like my neck is just as crepey and saggy as before. I think if I'm well hydrated it looks better. I'm eventually going to have a neck lift because realistically that's the only thing that'll work long term.

I used a neck cream from MD Perricone and it has done wonders! Using it about 6 months now. I’m 47.
it’s pricey but it works:

Cold Plasma Plus+ Sub-D / Neck

Buy Cold Plasma Plus+ Sub-D / Neck online with Perricone MD

Should do at that price! It doesn’t seem to have anything different in its ingredients.
What wonders has it actually done, apart from moisturise your neck, which any cream will do?

AstonMartha · 09/06/2024 19:44

Place marking as I noticed this today.

Superstoria · 09/06/2024 19:47

Also watching as I have the same!

So the skin on my neck was very dry and vey noticeable rings around it. Daily moisturiser didn’t make a difference. I saw ScotStyleeditor on instagram talking about this and I tried it out. Got rid of the rings and my skin is really smooth. Just looks normal again really.

It’s more wrinkly and crinkly than rings .

So the skin on our neck is thinner than the face so tends to show premature ageing more quickly. What skincare do you use on your face OP? I just bring all my skincare down to my neck and chest, and the backs of my hands.

There is no magic cream - tretinoin is the closest thing you will get and even that can only do so much. Make sure you use a thick moisturiser daily, and a high strength SPF everyday should against sun damage.

Tretinoin (by prescription or one of the subscription services) or a good over the counter retinol will increase collagen production but you need to be used consistently over time for results. Only use retinol products at night and always use sunscreen.

I also have one of those LED masks with the neck attachment thingy which I use when I think of it. If I use it consistently my skin looks better, but I'm not sure it would do much heavy lifting for sagginess or crepeyness.

There is no quick fix unfortunately, unless you have surgery or something.

suki1964 · 11/06/2024 12:59

I just live with it

Im older, Im not 20 anymore, wrinkles and lines and textured skin is part of the ageing process. The only thing that will make a difference is going under the knife and even if money was no object I wouldnt put myself through an unnecessary surgery

I have always taken the moisturiser down my neck and cleavage and always used spf 50 even in winter . And a think moisturiser, sometimes oil as well.

i wasn’t sure you could use tretonin on the neck as it’s delicate . ill looking to that , thanks.

mopopo · 12/06/2024 18:22

face yoga for necks.

DailyEnergyCrisis · 12/06/2024 18:26

Profhilo injections are effective but depends if you want to go down that path.

I’ve read reviews that they were disappointing and didn’t make much difference. Apparently micro neeedling combined with RF does make a significant difference. Anyone out there had this?

I use Tretinoin on my neck with no irritation. Perhaps try it on alternate days and moisturise after using it.
