Hi

ive noticed my neck has started to show signs of ageing . It’s crinkly wrinkly .

is there anything that would make a difference ?

I’ve always taken moisturiser down onto my neck and used SPF .

thanks

I think surgery is the only good option. I was always against plastic surgery but as I'm getting older I think it's something I might do if anything was really bothering me that much.

I’ve read reviews that they were disappointing and didn’t make much difference. Apparently micro neeedling combined with RF does make a significant difference. Anyone out there had this?

Yes, me- hence recommending it 😆

I got my throat tattooed can’t see them at all now

If anyone wants a discount code to try skin&me prescription skincare (tretinoin etc) you can use LUCYG5UAJ to try it for £3.50.
I use it and I think it’s the most effective cream available with ingredients at a strength that should make a difference.

I saw your post on profhilo, I didn’t see one on RF/ microneedling.

I have Trinnies micro needling thingy which I use on my neck. I haven’t seen much difference. Has anybody on here had surgery? If so was it really expensive and painful 😣?

You’d need it done professionally, to see a difference.

What is RF ?

I have the Trinny Elevator and have been using it for about a month. My neck seems better but I was very lax about moisturising before, so it’s not a perfect comparison.

My wallet is lighter, though!

Vaseline over creams and serums at bedtime.

My neck is lovely and I'm old!

It’s quicker to just Google if you don’t know. I didn’t know… but a ten second google tells me….

https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/radio-frequency-skin-tightening

I do usually but it was only RF so that isn’t helpful to google. F id known it was radio frequency I would have googled that .

thanks

I just live with it

Im older, Im not 20 anymore, wrinkles and lines and textured skin is part of the ageing process. The only thing that will make a difference is going under the knife and even if money was no object I wouldnt put myself through an unnecessary surgery

Same. I don't expect my body to look how it did 20 years ago. I moisturise and use sunscreen but I don't expect either of those things to stop the clock.

Happyinarcon · 13/06/2024 10:02

I had the needling done at a salon and it worked pretty well. You have to have several sessions to get the best results but I saw a noticeable improvement with just one session. I used a numbing cream though because it can be painful

Smooths but doesn’t tighten skin

itsnothingoriginal · 13/06/2024 14:32

I use Alumier MD neck cream which is (apparently) medical grade. These products are referral only - I had some tweaks done and was recommended by my practitioner.

I've noticed a considerable improvement after a few months of use and my neck/decollete looks much firmer than it did. However, I still have the scraggy bit under my chin (genetic unfortunately) and was advised the only option for this is surgery.

Fake tan and real rubies. Or the other way around.

Tinkerbell1281 · 13/06/2024 15:45

I tried profhilo, but it didn’t work. What did work was polynucleotide injections and microneedling - noticed a massive difference in the tone of the skin.

That’s nice for you . But I was asking people for suggestions as to what can be done to improve my neck. And I don’t want to look 20 years younger or look like I’m in my twenties .

i don’t get why people come on and say oh I don’t care about my neck or whatever the question is when the person asking does care and wants ideas .

Hydrating serum, foreo bear or similar device, HRT.

Gowlett · 14/06/2024 23:09

I like a jaunty scarf.
