I'm struggling to decide whether these look nice or silly / awful! I haven't taken the tags off yet so would be grateful for honest opinions

The jumpsuit is from whistles, and the trousers are from mint velvet. If I kept the trousers I'd have them taken up a little

The jumpsuit looks good on you. The trousers are fine, but look high maintenance in terms of ironing 😂 I'd wear them with a white top and a narrow tan belt x

beetr00 · 06/06/2024 18:13

@Dingdong99 you look gorgeous in both 😊

floatingthoughts7 · 06/06/2024 18:13

Gorgeous !

nobeans · 06/06/2024 18:14

The jump suit looks like a magic eye picture. I don't like it. I like the trousers but they will need ironing

Hoppinggreen · 06/06/2024 18:15

Jumpsuit nice but not 100% on the trousers

Trainday · 06/06/2024 18:15

With any purchases, if you don't absolutely love it when it's brand new, you're never going to.

ChimneySweepLiverpool · 06/06/2024 18:16

The jumpsuit looks amazing and a must keep!

GinandGingerBeer · 06/06/2024 18:18

I like it. What's the length like irl? (Sometimes hard to get it accurate in a photo)
They look like they could do with being a bit longer or need to be shorter for a crop.
You have a lovely shape and suit it. I like the colours.

ginasevern · 06/06/2024 18:33

The jump suit is gorgeous and you look fab in it. Not quite so keen on the trousers but they're not horrible.

Roundroundthegarden · 06/06/2024 19:09

The fit of the jumpsuit looks great on you BUT the print is the problem. I saw the jumpsuit in store and just couldn't put my finger on it.
As I was browsing and someone came in and picked it up. It was an elderly lady and I just realised the print looked very old fashioned. Something about it.

D20 · 06/06/2024 19:21

I like the fit of both but like PP the print is just a little off somehow on the jumpsuit.

GettingStuffed · 06/06/2024 22:04

You look fab in the jumpsuit but I think the trousers are a little to wide fit you though.

MrsMonzo · 06/06/2024 22:07

Definitely keep them both, you look amazing 😊

skinnyoptionsonly · 06/06/2024 22:09

If in doubt and asking MN then no.

Deliberately without actually giving an opinion on the clothes.

Notquitethere60 · 06/06/2024 22:12

I now realise if I start asking opinions from random strangers or even family I don’t like the item enough to keep it. Ask yourself if you were going out tomorrow would you wear either?

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 07/06/2024 00:23

If you have to ask on here, then the answer is "no" regardless of what the answers are.

If you really want an answer, I like, but wouldn't personally wear, the trousers, but if I saw someone wearing them I'd think they're quite stylish.

The jumpsuit is horrible. (And not because, oh the horror an "elderly lady" picked it) The colour, pattern and shape are awful and it looks cheap.

Girlintheframe · 07/06/2024 00:26

Sorry I'm not keen on the jumpsuit. It's a nice fit but I don't like the print. The trousers are a lovely style but I'm not sold on the colour. They are a little wishy washy. As others have said, I think if you have to ask your unsure so it would be a no from me.

Screamingabdabz · 07/06/2024 00:28

Jumpsuit is awful (although if anyone could rock it, you can op!) but the trousers are very chic. Keep them.

StoneTheCrone · 07/06/2024 00:34

The jumpsuit is giving pyjama vibes and the trousers look like they need an iron and are too big for you (yes, i know that's the trend).

TheOriginalFrench · 07/06/2024 01:15

Jumpsuit, almost offensively timid.

Trousers, impossibly insipid colour. Nice shape. Is the fabric thin or have you just taken them out of the packaging?

It’s all - including the cardigan - very bland. Is that how you intend to look?

BeBopBeBop · 07/06/2024 01:32

I like the trousers and would just go for the crumpled oversized look with a fitted racer back vest in a much darker colour, trainers or Birkenstocks and a big summery bag.
I have to be honest, the jumpsuit does nothing for me, especially with the white trainers. Its like someone who usually wore a midi tea dress and white trainers, had tried to move on but just not too far out of their comfort zone. As with PP its something about the pattern and maybe the sleeve length.

TheOriginalFrench · 07/06/2024 01:41

Expanding on bland …

The clothes you’ve shown epitomise Tory Wife - standing by her man outside the gates of your manor house as the press devour him for whatever scandal he’s trying to slide out of. Nice clothes to appeal to nice voters.

Dingdong99 · 07/06/2024 05:14

Thanks all - this is very helpful. I'll return them both and wait to find something I'm more sure about

I thought you looked amazing in both. Particularly like the trousers (jumpsuit a bit bright for me but you look great in it)
