My striped shirt arrived. I think I'm going to keep it. It's quite nice. Not amazing though.

PragmaticDramatic · 10/06/2024 19:14

@WhereAreWeNow What is the quality like? Hopefully mine arrives tomorrow.

I bought the bag and the blue ombre dress. Can't wear a bra with it but have bought some tit tape and as I don't have big boobs I think I'll be ok.
I'm really pleased with both items.

WhereAreWeNow · 10/06/2024 19:36

Nice @PragmaticDramatic .
I mean it's not amazing but it's nice soft cotton and I like the smocking detail.
It's v thin though. I think I'll wear it with a cami underneath for work.

PragmaticDramatic · 11/06/2024 13:45

@WhereAreWeNow I have yet to try it on but I am impressed with how weighty it is. What colour cami will you be wearing under it?

I've kept the jeans as I really like the shape. I'm 5 ft 3 though & I'm not sure whether they need to be shortened a tad.
I've returned the striped shirt as it was really thin & didn't really look special enough for the cost. Plus I have many shirts already.

EllaPaella · 11/06/2024 18:57

I managed to bag the broderie blouse today. Must have been a return as only one left in stock. Not holding out great hopes as although it looks pretty the reviews aren't great.

SmallestSheepdogforTeenySheep · 11/06/2024 19:26

I wore my size 12 jeans today. I wasn’t sure about them as they’re large but I put a belt on and embraced the baggy look. They’re ever so comfortable but I think they are just too big.

They are so high waisted that there is an excess of material at the front so they look a bit odd.

I’m obviously keeping them now I’ve worn them but I really wish I’d sized down or hadn’t bothered. I don’t really have £50 to waste .

LiterallyOnFire · 11/06/2024 19:27

I wanted a blouse but everything looks weirdly cropped.

The sarong looks beautiful but I don't need one.

All a bit meh.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 11/06/2024 21:20

For all those disappointed with the cropped broiderie blouse... I just bought this one and it's great!

D20 · 11/06/2024 22:37

I don’t like the droopy boobies on that one 🙊

Housewife2010 · 12/06/2024 04:39

Cat Deeley was wearing the Sienna broderie blouse on This Morning yesterday. It looked fabulous on her, but then anything would look great on her.

WhereAreWeNow · 12/06/2024 05:38

I was thinking white cami @PragmaticDramatic but now you've got me thinking I should be more adventurous!
Are we talking about the same shirt. Mine isn't weighty at all. Light as a feather.

@WhereAreWeNow nMine is the one with the buttons at the back. I am wearing a white cami however I think a more beau teal one would be better. I like the fact that the colour of my top isn’t stark white as it gives a nice vintage look to it. I am wearing it with jeans and I like how it looks especially how nice the lace looks at the bottom on top of my jeans. I got the eight and although it looks fairly wide to look at on the bottom when on it’s fairly fitted, on me, so I am glad I didn’t size down and it gives enough room for a cami to sit underneath. I think it would have been nice to have fabric covered buttons but the detailing in terms of the lacey bits and on the sleeves is lovely. It doesn’t look like your typical M&S piece so I think the price can be justified.

I bought the western shoe boots. Love them. They are so comfy and well made.

I picked these up from store yesterday and I'm in love with them! Wore them to the pub last night with barrel legs and a denim shirt tucked in.

WhereAreWeNow · 12/06/2024 18:25

Ah, different shirt @PragmaticDramatic .
Mine is the blue striped one. V thin cotton. Almost like a muslin.

RampantIvy · 15/06/2024 09:03

I was in M and S yesterday and had a look at the Sienna Miller collection. Most of the clothes are quite flimsy and in wishy washy colours. However, I really liked the floral blouse. It is very low cut, and as I am not curvy I would wear it over a camisole or vest top.

Shopgirl1 · 15/06/2024 12:10

I got the bag yesterday. I’m taking it back. Don’t think the quality is great.

advicepleaseandpfm · 15/06/2024 16:08

I went overboard!
Bought the dress - the tank and the patterned one.
The sandals, the white shorts, the belt, the quilted jacket swimsuit and jeans.
I've been wearing the Alexa M&S collection on rotation since 2016.
The quality is good and that's my summer wardrobe sorted for a couple of years!
I wear my stuff with DMs, converse and Asics trainers

LBB2020 · 15/06/2024 18:00

I’ve bought the broderie blouse, floral print tie front top and silver/metallic sandals. I would like the beaded tank top too but it’s out of stock in my size and I’ve not seen it in my local store. Really happy with the things I have got though

FatElvis · 15/06/2024 18:24

I finally managed try some of it on. Lots was out of stock in my size. The only thing I bought is the striped shirt. I've also got the jeans arriving soon to try after a small restock. Also got the carrot jeans (not SM range) and love them so thanks for the recommendation for those 😀

Peaceandquietandacuppa · 15/06/2024 23:09

I ended up returning most of it: quilted jacket felt thin and cheap. Broderie blouse felt super thin. Belt too small. I kept the shoes, really liked those!

ChockysChimichanga · 16/06/2024 09:36

I see people are already selling items for well over rrp on Vinted.
