No idea where to start. I'm short and curvy and prob will wear with jeans and dresses.

Need something that doesn't come up too high on the heel looks good and makes me look like I am in fashion!

Any ideas?

I’ve got trainers, boots, shoes and sandals - really good quality and value for money! 😀

Yeah...I forgot to mention the boots and sandals! I think my total is 22 pairs of Modas altogether!

Wow, thank you @Inyourwildestdreams.
Sadly, Ecco and John Lewis have closed their Sheffield stores and so have Hotter. We do have a Charles Clinkard and a Rieker store though.

I have a pair of Josef Siebel Birkenstock dupes which are brilliant. I have a pair of these ankle boots, which I wore a lot this last winter https://www.simplyfeet.co.uk/brands/caprice/caprice-boots/caprice-kelli-warm-boot.html

I like Gabor shoes, but I have never been able to find any that are comfortable. My arthritis is on my big toe on my right foot and is very painful. I can't bend the toe very much.

@RampantIvy No problem 😊 You may find some Rieker styles comfortable! They are nice and lightweight and have some anatomically shaped styles which might work for your feet. However, they tend not to have removable insoles and they are mainly synthetic. They have a sister brand called Remonte that I think would work better for you though 😊 definitely worth checking if your Rieker store stocks Remonte too.

Josef Seibel is a great brand 😊 it suits a lot of people actually and they make shoes well. Romika is a brand owned by JS that use similar techniques and technologies so they may be of interest to you too!

Seconding that Skechers are bad for your feet. My mum went to see a foot specialist due to crippling plantar fasciitis and he told her to immediately bin her Go Walks. Her feet are fine now.

I also wear Adidas Bravada, Reebok Club C Revenge, AF1s and about 12 pairs of Converse Lift

Where does everyone keep all their shoes?
I just buy one pair per type of footwear in a neutral colour so that they go with all of my clothes. I can't imagine having 12 pairs+ of trainers.

Trainers are my go to footwear -rarely a day when I don’t wear them so do have a large collection

Stacked in boxes in the wardrobe for me.

Golden Goose have an elevated sole, so kind of an internal high heel.

Converse platforms are good too. I wear them when my trousers are a bit overlong (can’t sew).

From £400 ? Really? I don't think they are for me.

Believe me, it took me years to persuade myself into buying a pair.

I had a windfall and went for it. I only really ever wear trainers, even for going out, so I consider them my Louboutins 😀

Enjoy!

I would say Skechers are no no in terms of being trendy or in fashion!

And cause awful pain after a while. Ruined my feet 😣

They aren't trendy but they are incredibly comfortable. DD is on her feet all day and wears them for work. She gets Blue Light card discount from them. She wears orthotics in them as well.

TizerorFizz · 28/08/2024 16:11

I like Clark’s wide feet. I find them comfortable. Hotter ok too. I always wear leather and it has to be supple.
