What shoes- not heels!

I've ordered this wedding dress. Looks lovely on, am a short curvy size 16 forty-something year old. For an informal (second!) June wedding.

I was going to wear little gold cowboy boots with it, but they just don't look quite right.

I'm not really a tettering heels kind of person, and my normal go to is trainers or boots...

Ideally I also need to wear tights, as I am paler than milk at the moment!

I am really lost as to what other shoes I could pair it with! Any suggestions?

It's a lovely dress! A pair of gold / silver flats with some pearls or embroidery might be lovely? What's the budget?

I have some Jimmy Choo flats with a pearl on the front which would look lovely with that dress, but obviously ££. I did see some lovely ones that have a slight heel on Sophia Webster, but they're absolutely stunning!

How about the Ganni buckle flats to get that same juxtaposition you were going for with the cowboy boots, there are loads of colour options. They are super versatile too.

@SuuzeeeQ they are gorgeous, but given that they are more expensive that my dress (needle and thread) I think they're over budget. But my god, I think I shall dream of them!

@Pollipops1 is right, maybe totally flat isn't the best choice. A low block heel will still be comfy but have a bit of lift - never shopped here but there are a lot of choices
