What shoes- not heels!

I've ordered this wedding dress. Looks lovely on, am a short curvy size 16 forty-something year old. For an informal (second!) June wedding.

I was going to wear little gold cowboy boots with it, but they just don't look quite right.

I'm not really a tettering heels kind of person, and my normal go to is trainers or boots...

Ideally I also need to wear tights, as I am paler than milk at the moment!

I am really lost as to what other shoes I could pair it with! Any suggestions?

Wore these ones with a very similar style wedding dress. I also can't cope with heels and am a curvy size 16. Managed to wear them all day without killing my feet.

wear them in with socks beforehand and they’ll be super comfy, they are the only heel I can wear these days…

I’m so good with fashion and the shoes you chose are way to harsh they are ugly IMO and not the right colour they may look good with something else but not this pretty dress sorry

What was wrong with the little cowboy boots, I could see that working? Was the gold the wrong sort of gold, what about a cream or pale beige suede?

They have the wrong illusion if you know what I mean, and made my legs look a bit dumpy! It's a shame as I was excited about wearing them!

I've ordered two pairs to try with the dress. I should have said the dress kind of has a pinky pearl hue to it. So white doesn't quite work- so I've ordered a couple which are slightly more pink to try;

I'd have a look at Esska or Unisa, they do nice block heel/platform wedding style shoes.
