Would you rather get nails or lashes done?

Which do you prefer and would rather get done if on a budget and can only afford the one treatment?
I'm not a tech I'm trying to decide which to upkeep!

Nails.

Nails 100%. It’s my favourite form of self care! I hate getting my lashes done and lying there with someone fiddling around my eyes for an hour

For me, lashes. It cuts my morning make up routine down and makes my face feel more "awake"

I do my own nails with a home UV lamp and gels and I find it makes me less annoyed when they chip as I haven't forked out £30 on them!

I have recently started doing my own lashes at home too! It's almost as good as the professional, and much cheaper!

I happily live with getting neither done but I never even notice nails unless they're obviously done which I don't like so if I had to spend money on one, lashes.

Do you have extensions or lvl?

What home kit do you use?
I tried the lash base one but the glue always felt tacky and I couldn't get on with them

@NotmySundaybest I've had both but I was having fortnightly lash extensions but the cost was just getting silly and I found after around 10 days they were looking sparse and it annoyed me! X

It depends what your natural lashes are like. I put a quick coat of mascara on most mornings which takes about 30 seconds and is fine for day to day.
Nails are quite easy to do yourself though, I do my own gels.

@BarberellaWife I use Tatti Lashes. I was really skeptical as I'm not great with lashes myself usually, but I've got the knack of it now (watched a few video tutorials online at first!) they're so easy!

Nails - just toes though. I had shellac on my finger nails last sumer and it nearly wrecked my nails.

No-one goes near my eyes I have problems with them so I don't wear any eye make up at all. Fortunately I have dark eyelashes that are fairly long so they don't need any extra help.

LVL lashes. I'd definitely have this done as a regular treatment if I wasn't saving for a bigger house right now.

I feel much prettier with them, don't feel like I need any makeup, and when I do put on mascara for a night out they look incredible with the lash lift.

Nails every time. I really don't "get" false eyelashes...they just look...false?! Unless they are really natural false eyelashes, most people look better without them on!

I agree. I hate the tarantula lashes look.

Lashes, as I can easily do my own nails but not my own lashes.

Never done either but tempted by lashes....

I don't get nails at all.

Some false lashes don't look false at all but the ones that don don't bother me at all. They're just obviously make up in the same way as say red lipstick is.

Nails on the other hand (no pun intended) I just don't see what the point is.

I learned to do my nails myself, started with just polish, went to gels and can now do BIAB as well. Not skilled enough for acrylics but gels are easy enough as long as you have a steady hand

For me, I have a face that looks like a slapped backside,, nowt is going to improve on that, so I do my nails.

I love my nails looking pretty and I always gets compliments in them.
