Would you rather get nails or lashes done?

Which do you prefer and would rather get done if on a budget and can only afford the one treatment?
I'm not a tech I'm trying to decide which to upkeep!

Lashes (and brows). . Mine are very fair.

Im not a fan of fake nails, gels etc. I just paint my nails myself.

I loved getting my lashes done but they ruined them, my lash girl told me to get UK lash serum to build them back up.. OMG, they are growing back so fast, well worth the money, but will definitely be getting my lashes done again soon. For my nails I'm rubbish, they don't stay on for more than 2 weeks so I'd rather have my lashes on. Xx

I get both done once a month so it's a hard question for me , but I would probably say lashes?

I couldn't do my lashes anywhere near how my lash tech does them I wouldn't even know where to start, I hate not having them done, I feel 100x better with them done

With nails , I usually get BIAB and i loveeee them , but if I couldn't afford them I could still make my nails look nice & tidy (not as nice as my nail tech doing them) but still presentable, i would cut, shape and paint with a normal gel polish myself 💅🏼

I thought the OP meant having lashes tinted. Not having lash extensions which I’ve never had done.
The individual lashes that eg Trinny gets are great although I assume very expensive to maintain.
Most of the other fake lashes are really hideous.

Neither! I can file and shape my own nails and apply nail varnish if I wish, and I've never had anything done to my eyelashes.

I used to get my lashes and nails done very frequently and now I don't as I felt the lashes started to ruin my natural ones and the gel nails were causing damage to my natural nails. I have a cleaner instead now and much happier!

I don't like the look of fake nails OR lashes but if I could afford it I'd love to get my lashes tinted and permed.

I find getting mascara off most days to be a bigger faff than my weekly manicure.

Are long acrylics on their way out?

I think lashes when they’ve not been kept up with meticulously look worse than just natural lashes, whereas for the most part “done” nails always look tidier than undone nails and so I’d pick nails.

Lash extensions aren’t worth it. They damage your lashes and look fake, particularly after a week or so.

lash lift and tint is well worth it. It makes a massive difference to your face to have lashes which are permanently curled and dark all the way to the very tips.

Oh I disagree about the nails thing, if you're talking about fake nails and not just a manicure. Half the people I see with fake nails on have a huge regrowth gap, and it looks pretty ordinary, not the well groomed look I assume people are paying all that money for!

100% lashes. Nails I can do myself.

Have had both done continuously, but when looking at budgeting- I continued with nails and stopped having lashes.
It is sad having no lashes as I loved it, but I hated having bare nails and whenever I do them myself, they didn't look as good.

Lashes!

I'd go lvl lashes. I was amazed at the difference they made to my middle aged face.

I love getting my toe nails done but always end up picking off gel nails. Not worth the money for me and I'm not a fan of the gap you get when they're growing out.
