Wedding attire - is this ok?

I'm really bad at finding something to wear for a wedding and find it quite stressful

I also don't wear heels much or get my legs out so don't want to feel out of my comfort zone

I'm also trying not to buy anything and my wardrobe is slim pickings!!

Is this ok/suitable? I've cobbled it together from what I have

Wedge espadrilles probably not ideal but I don't have any heels

I think you look lovely 🥰

DreadPirateRobots · 06/04/2024 17:47

Absolutely fine. Smart and tasteful.

GreatGateauxsby · 06/04/2024 17:47

Nice 👍

pimplebum · 06/04/2024 17:54

Lovely
I'd go for colourful clutch and earrings or necklace but not essential

InTheRainOnATrain · 06/04/2024 17:56

Dress looks great. Wedges are perfect for weddings as you never know if you’ll be required to walk on gravel or grass. Any other bag options? I don’t think the pink colour goes that well but it’s not a shocker or anything if that’s all you have especially as the rest of the outfit is great!

Woahthehorsey · 06/04/2024 18:17

Lovely.

GiveYourHeadAWobble · 06/04/2024 18:17

I love the dress. It looks gorgeous.

Personally I'd choose a cream bag as your shoes and the flowers on the dress are cream. Do you have a cream bag?

I also love your jewellery.

Meganmeccano · 06/04/2024 18:20

Should be fine for a U.K. wedding unless there's a specific dress code or the marraine couple are super snazzy.

Sagittarius · 06/04/2024 18:22

Yes absolutely 💯

Linedbook · 06/04/2024 18:27

I think that's perfect too.

Sidebeforeself · 06/04/2024 18:28

Looks great. But in reality nobody is really looking at you so not worth stressing over if you feel nice in it

Revelatio · 06/04/2024 18:30

Looks great, my mum has this dress (or something very similar!) and wore it to my brother’s wedding. She looked great, wore it with coral sandals.

TunaCrunchy · 06/04/2024 18:32

It looks nice, if I was to change anything then it would be the bag.

mumofthemonsters808 · 06/04/2024 18:36

Yes, I think you look lovely, I really like your dress.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 06/04/2024 19:03

Looks great OP!

Remo22 · 06/04/2024 19:09

Great dress imo change the clutch to something smaller or neutral colored maybe even burgundy
But it still looks great

Alwaysalwayscold · 06/04/2024 19:14

I love the outfit and the shoes. Do you have any other options for a bag you could show? I'm not overly keen on that one

Sunnnybunny72 · 06/04/2024 19:24

Dress is nice. Really don't like the bag, sorry.

mathanxiety · 06/04/2024 19:32

Yes to the dress, no to the bag.

Yeah I wouldn't go beige for accessories but nice enough dress.

DisforDarkChocolate · 06/04/2024 20:18

Lovely, I'd go for a more colourful bag though.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 06/04/2024 20:19

You look gorgeous, do you have a smaller bag either cream or blue?

Crochetablanket · 06/04/2024 20:20

Usually these posts are someone wanting to wear bridal white or an MIL wearing black - so a pleasant surprise!
Another vote here - it looks lovely and very wedding suitable !

70sdisco · 06/04/2024 20:23

You look really lovely in the dress. I’m not keen on the shoes or the bag but if it’s all you have they are fine.

WardrobesAreFull · 06/04/2024 20:24

Looks lovely. I think the bag is fine if it’s all you have but as others have said, if you have something colourful that could work better. Lots of colours could work - pink, red, purple, metallic.
