Wedding attire - is this ok?

I'm really bad at finding something to wear for a wedding and find it quite stressful

I also don't wear heels much or get my legs out so don't want to feel out of my comfort zone

I'm also trying not to buy anything and my wardrobe is slim pickings!!

Is this ok/suitable? I've cobbled it together from what I have

Wedge espadrilles probably not ideal but I don't have any heels

dress and shoes are fine and you look lovely. The bag doesn’t work, though. You need something smaller in cream or a lighter colour.

That's a lovely dress. You look great and very suitable for a wedding.

Thank you for all your lovely and helpful comments. I'll stop stressing now and get excited!!

Good idea to get a better bag and maybe shoes

I think the bag's good, it adds something IMO and the shoes are fine too.

You look great. You’re tall and slim, so fortunate that most things will look good. The shoes are fine, if I was being ultra critical, the bag is a bit everyday casual. You could get a cream clutch from Primark for under a tenner.

Looks lovely.

Lovely dress, I agree get a smaller and brighter clutch. A dark blue of pink?

TunaCrunchy · 07/04/2024 17:32

The shoes look nice on you.

FantasticElasticBand · 07/04/2024 17:39

Keep the shoes - comfy when you’re standing around. Good for grass / gravel. & they look appropriate.

Bag yes but I’d stick with the shoes you have!

Deadringer · 07/04/2024 17:51

It's lovely, is it navy? If so I think navy shoes and bag would look dressier.

Looks lovely 😍 is the dress dancing leopard?
