What to wear to Taylor Swift?

Going to Taylor Swift in June with my daughters. What shall I wear? I’m in my early 50s, size 12. The only thing I’m certain of is that I really want to wear cowboy boots!! Outfit ideas please - the only thing I really can’t wear I think is frills!

Looking again tonight the Sunday return journeys are only shown up to 12th May - it says they haven't set the timetables any further than yet.

So I have decided to just book a single for the journey up on the Friday and then book the Sunday as soon as they are released. It may cost a little more but who knows when the Sunday tickets will get released.

How weird?! You'd think any timetable changes would be made long in advance and for the whole week.

Well I'm going to Germany with my daughter to see TS, so have to pack light. It will be trainers for feet and probably something over the top red dress for me, daughter has seen a fab newspaper corset dress which she loves.

I'm very late to the Taylor Swift party, but have tickets for Wembley and I'm taking my DD(11) as a surprise 😬
Do you think I should tell her so we can dress up ? Or just pack her bag for her 😂

I've never been to Wembley so any advice would be welcomed 🙏

You could say you're going to a TS themed day, or say you're going to hang out at Wembley on the day so she has the opportunity to dress up and then the fantastic surprise!

I'm taking my 11 yr old, she's been outfit planning since Christmas!

I would tell her. She'll want to plan outfits, make friendships bracelets etc I expect. Maybe a month or two notice

Tell her, let her enjoy the anticipation and outfit planning!

I would tell her. My dd are loving the anticipation.

Work of warning if you are getting tube it could take a couple of hours to get on one afterwards.

I still haven't decided on an era. I joked to dd that I'll take 3 and just change during the concert. She wasn't impressed.

We are off to Wembley on 22nd June, travelling from Yorkshire. No premier inns available near the stadium, and I don't want my DD walking around London late at night.

National Express are putting on coaches for the concerts, which I'm considering booking for cost and safety reasons.

Am I mad to consider this ??

Where are you travelling from and on what day? We are going on the Sunday and I'm driving because my experences with getting trains back to Hampshire after gigs hasn't been great. I've booked parking at the arena, no doubt it will take ages to get out, but at least I won't get stranded.

Yorkshire is quite far! Coach there seems like a good shout, how long will it take you to get home?

3hrs 🤦‍♀️ but at least someone else will be driving so we can sleep.
Only 1/2hr from the coach depot so will be in bed by 4am 😂

I could try and find an Airbnb but I'm not sure, and the Mum in me just wants my DD to feel safe and comfortable.

If it was just me and friends then I'd walk the streets till the first train home 😂

That's not too bad then. Definitely better option than walking the streets! You could probably find a hotel that you could get a tube too, Wembely is quite well connected to the rest of north west London.

Given how long I've waited to get out of Wembley and onto a train/tube after other gigs, they could be an hour into their journey home by the time they get on a train.

It was a few years ago but we were stuck queuing outside Wembley for at least an hour I think.

Im demented trying to figure out an outfit. We are seeing her in paris in 2 weeks.
I have white linen shorts, black sequin strappy top and a silver bomber jacket.
Wearing my runners.
Im 54 and a big size 14 but im going with my 2 adult dds who will look like they just stepped off the cover of a magazine in their fabulous costumes.
Do you think ill be ok in that or will i rethink it?

Some people must very jelly they didn't manage to get their hands on TS tickets.

Wear something comfortable OP. Something that'll keep you cool, can imagine it getting very warm with that crowd.
