Outfittery formerly Stitch fix

Are any other previous Stitch Fix customers getting constantly spammed by Outfittery. Apparently my next box is being delivered in 2 days which I never asked for and the cancel feature on their website doesn't work so I've had to email them instead.

I wouldn't have minded so much if they had asked if I wanted to move across to them first.

Has anyone used Outfittery? What are they like?

They replied to me on Trustpilot and asked me to email them - which I have done. But I havent had a reply yet. I still have the unopened box here which I did not order.

Georgieporgie29 · 11/04/2024 16:09

Ah well that’s one better than me, they never replied to my trust pilot review.

I’m still waiting on them emailing me back, I’ve had 2 were busy and will email you soon replies, but that’s it.

I’m also waiting on the outcome of my bank dispute.

This is all just getting ridiculous now.

Got another box today and it was really bad. Included lots of things I had already said in the preview that I don't want and none of them were my style at all. Such a shame.

bettybyebye · 16/04/2024 11:51

I have still not heard a thing and have had the box here unopened for nearly 2 weeks!

Someonescatmum · 16/04/2024 19:24

I got my preview box today and had to swap out most of the things they proposed

(I am actually doing business with them)

The selection was all dull and floppy.

Twinwife · 18/04/2024 11:18

Box arrived and all has been sent back . I’m waiting for email to ask me to pay for what I’ve kept …

OpalsOriginals · 14/05/2024 18:12

I realise that this thread is a bit old but I’ve been searching the web to find some advice.

i was a customer of stitch fix but cancelled my subscription. Just before the company closed they sent a 70% discount off a box so I made a one off order and got some lovely bits. A couple of months ago I got an email from Outfittery saying my box had been dispatched. I assumed it was a scam so ignored. They sent an invoice for nearly £600. Since then I have been bombarded with demands to pay, both via email and post.

I have replied to every email asking them to delete my details and that I have never ordered nor received any items from them. Finally today they replied with tracking information from Royal Mail. There is a photo of my front door(no delivery insight) and a signature that definitely isn’t mine. They are threatening debt collectors and I have no idea what to do. I’m a single mum barely making ends meet, £600 for a delivery I never received, it’s making me feel sick.

OpalsOriginals · 14/05/2024 18:13

If anyone can give me some advice I’d be very grateful

I would go to citizens advice and trading standards.

Weird that the tracking photo is your front door but a different signature. Maybe the postie signed for it and then someone nicked it from your doorstep? Do you have a ring doorbell or similar? Is your door open in the royal mail photo? If not I would go back to them and tell them to take it up with royal mail as they haven't directly delivered it to you and you haven't received it so they need to claim the money back from RM.

The door is shut - the signature is just two lines, unfortunately no ring door bell. Will try citizens advice. Thank you

babymoosey · 14/05/2024 21:08

You know the chief exec is on LinkedIn? Feel free to message her on there - Julia Bosch. That might get you a response.

WestEndGirls · 14/05/2024 21:10

I’m having similar issues - I received an unwanted box, returned it but they are now chasing for payment for an item which I returned. Definitely avoid using Outfittery!

OpalsOriginals · 14/05/2024 23:20

They’ve just cancelled the invoice - success!! I pointed out the tracking photo showed my closed front door with no parcel in sight and the signature not even close to
mine. So worth persevering.

I still can’t believe they did this in the first place, it’s caused me so much stress, not to mention ongoing anxiety about it happening again. How is it legal?!

Excellent news!

I loved StitchFix, but only found them a couple of boxes before they folded. Have given OutFittery a go but their selections all seem poorer quality and the first box was really badly matched to my style. And more expensive! The free returns are useful though, so I'm gonna see how I feel about the next box and if it's just as bad I'll be cancelling. So sad StitchFix went under 😞

SaltBlossom · 23/08/2024 21:08

OMG Outfittery sent another unsolicited box to DP, even though he never had an account. He refused it at the doorstep, which seemed to confuse the postman.

Reedymoo · 29/08/2024 18:17

I’ve just been issued a warning letter to pay up or attend court. I can’t justify being stung with court costs, yet I never ordered the box, nor have they my address correct so by the time I realised I even had a box, I couldn’t return anything. Any advice please?

I think you need to go to citizens advice and/or trading standards.

This company is seriously shady. So sorry you are having to deal with this.

All the reviews on trust pilot have had responses, so that might be worth a try
