Boden long chunky cardis - why so many left?

Am I missing something - have ordered but realised that there are plenty left in the navy and the turquoise. Why is this when they are really nice colours? Not hotch potchy or anything

Have also ordered a 'sassy' jersey dress and some nice yellow corduroys and a stripey yellow and burgundy cardi as well.

I have been going Boden mad tonite

Half of it will prob go back.

I only ever get one little scrap of tissue with mine

They are discriminating against me for being a sale shopper, aren;t they.

Ok, the eagle has landed (as it were)

Marled crew neck is green, not grey - but still very nice. Staying. (only because it is better quality than most and I wear these all the time)

Chunky cardi is a slender fit in Medium, (I am 10/12) but very nice, despite the toggles, and am keeping the turquoise

pink patterned cord skirt is vile (not badly made but pattern is not matched at sides, at all and it is rather gaudy) :going back.

Wool mini in dark purple is part synthetic, and a bit crispy (like velour) so undecided as yet - very comfy though and well made. Hmm.

Long socks are long socks - they stay

Pink men's sweater - nothing unusual, but again lots of wear in it so it stays. (glad it wasn't full price though)

Yellow cords are BEAUtiful! Really nice gold/dark ochre. Fit well but are a bit loose and cords always stretch so are going back for a 10 instead.
The legs are not too long for a change!

Stripy purple/yellow cardi did not, I'm sorry to say, make it out of its plastic wrapper - it is not reddish like in the pictures, but a dull purple with palish yellow {yuk} so is going back.

I've ordered the size 10 cords, a velvet coat in an 8 which will never fit, a flippy skirt and await with interest!

No pics as I am too attached to my tight jeans and new uggs to take them off again

Ooh and the 'sassy' dress didn't make it out either

I'm sure the puffball hem is delightful but the velvet ribbon trim was just horrid

Then again like I say, I'm a jeans and uggs chick nowadays

Ok since yesterday...

When did you get Uggs? I want Uggs.

Hope my parcel is waiting for me at home. Am at work .

Flight · 28/03/2008 16:43

Oh ho ho

Yes they came yesterday, hence...

I wore wellies today though.
The uggs are marvellous. They're the long shiny leather ones with sheepy turnovers

I hope your parcel is there when you get home. I'm dying to know what the crinkly dresses are like! (they wouldn't suit me I think - beautiful colours though)

I have my parcel, courtesy of my kindly neighbour. Hurray!! Haven't opened it yet. Is it my imagination or does it glow ethereally? What treasures will be found inside its cardboardy depths?

Flight · 28/03/2008 19:56

You got cardboard???!!!

I got bags...but they are pink

actually I've to put boys to bed now but back early tmrw to read about your stuff!!

Well flight, I can answer your question about hte cardis - it's because they look like dressing gowns. At least my navy one did. I looked lumpy and tired. It is going BACK. Turqoise would be a nice colour, I can imagine, but have a coat in a similar colour.

Drapey wrap is delicioso.

Still jealous about the Uggs

Flight · 29/03/2008 06:48

Aw I'm sorry about the cardi
I got a navy one too and sent it back! (Remember the 7 days rule)

glad your drapey wrap is luscious though.
I could never wear one of those, I haven't got the shape for it. I quite like the dressing gown look

Are the crinklies any good?

OP posts:
CocoDeBearisCocoDeBear · 29/03/2008 07:04

crinklies not good either, they just make me look like I got dressed by picking old clothes off the floor. Not that I don't do that .

Is turqoise one (can't spell turgoise, looks like tortoise) tons nicer? Cardie that is.

The sandals are good.

Also headbands, though a bit tight, as designed for 12 year olds.

Drapey wrap is good for my shape - great big norks and a huge muffin top.

Pleased your cords are a success. The colour sounded a bit risky.

Flight · 29/03/2008 08:21

Erm well I didn't get the navy one out so not entirely sure! I love the colour and that sold it to me but if you already have a turquoise coat, (jealous again!) then I wouldn't bother. I'm sure the shape is the same.

What a pain about the dresses. At least the sandals were good!

I'm sitting here in turquoise cardi, green top, purple mini skirt and Uggs

with blue tights

Feel like the mad woman of the neighbourhood!
