Morning! I'm starting a new thread before I go to work as it may get filled before this evening.

I agree, her coat dress is lovely but not sure about the evening dress.
Also agree on Bea's school uniform. I like that look on the top, but think it needs trousers rather than a pleated skirt.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/02/2024 09:16

CPV really suits that red.

I can't believe the official photos left Princess Sofia with red eyes!

MrsLeonFarrell · 02/02/2024 09:28

Catherine wore a similar grey sweater a little while ago and styled it better. I still didn't like it but that style seems to be in at the moment. Beatrice has been looking so good recently that I'll give her a pass on this at a time when she must be so worried.

Yes, they certainly go all out for the orders, don't they?

Working on the theory that Victoria is wearing one of the ranks of the French Legion D’Honneur (as the rule is you wear the highest honour you hold from the state you are hosting, and if you don’t have one from - in this case - France you wear your highest domestic honour) then it comes with a huge royal blue sash, two star badges and a separate medal on a bright red ribbon. What a palaver! And then she also has to find space for her portrait of her father too. Bet she’s pleased that visits is over!

What have I missed? Why is Beatrice worried??

I think it's a reference to her mother's illness.

I was referring to her mother's illness which must be so awful just when she'd beaten another cancer, plus the ongoing Dad problem. I can see why somedays she just throws stuff on

MotherofPearl · 02/02/2024 19:53

I quite like Beatrice's granny chic outfit. BlushCould it also be classed as dark academia?! It's no secret that I like grey, and I quite favour the geeky librarian look.

Papergirl1968 · 03/02/2024 00:38

Camilla definitely has a go to style and sticks to it.

Ah, ok. I thought something else awful might have happened.

I quite liked the grey outfit. Nice and modern.

Eaumyword · 03/02/2024 09:48

I quite like Cam's style - functional, comfortable, smart and she's definitely had her colours done, as her outfit colours generally look good.
I think she gives good 'supporting role' style, rather than 'everyone look at me'!😂

Maireas · 03/02/2024 09:49

I loved her taking tap lessons from Johannes Radebe! (I'm a huge fan)

I think the actress is a good likeness for Màxima though young Wax was perhaps not quite as good-looking as the lead actor.

Serenster · 03/02/2024 09:58

That’s very cute, KillingMeDeftly! The leads look a bit better than the usual Hallmark royal romance actors, too.

justasking111 · 03/02/2024 10:18

I want to see Maxima 💗

Maireas · 03/02/2024 10:25

Well, I wonder if it'll be like The Crown? Or will they go for accuracy?

What season is Camilla do you think @Eaumyword ?

Eaumyword · 03/02/2024 16:50

Hmm - with blonde/light grey hair, blue eyes and suiting pastel pink, blues and yellows, I think I'm going with Light Spring?

I wore a similar outfit to Bea the other day. Had grey trousers on instead of skirt. DH asked if I was off to solve a cold case a la Karen Pirie and DD told me I was going to miss the bell.Confused
Like Leti's look today, Max's not so much.

I wore a similar outfit a while ago but in camel and white.
Dos walked in and said "why are you dressed like a frumpy art teacher" 😂
Apologies to any art teachers out there, I'm sure you're not at all frumpy.

Alondra · 04/02/2024 12:56

Letizia attending Martin Scorsese talk in the Madrid Cinema Academy.

Letizia loves movies and It's becoming quite normal these days to see Felipe and Letizia buying tickets for a session on a Friday or Saturday night.

There was no way she was going to miss the chat by Scorsese in the Madrid Academy 😁
