Morning! I'm starting a new thread before I go to work as it may get filled before this evening.

I thought the embellishment thingy on Zara's hat was a cat hair on my screen.

Eaumyword · 12/03/2024 22:56

I think Za looks rather dashing!
Quite like CPV's periwinkle coat.
Not keen on Bea's outfit there.

Gibs0nGirl · 13/03/2024 03:24

Very 'principal boy' vibes from Zara there.

KillingMeDeftIy · 13/03/2024 07:43

Zara loves polo necks but they don’t really suit her and she ends looking all trussed up. Mike looks ridiculous in that flat cap!

gingercat02 · 13/03/2024 08:13

Mike is a bald Yorkshire man. Flat cap is compulsory at the races.

Papergirl1968 · 13/03/2024 22:16

Camilla, Anne, Zara and Eugenie at the races.

I do love the feeling of Royal musical chairs. Though APB is apparently with Anne Robinson which is info that made me squint slightly and put my head on one side.

Eaumyword · 13/03/2024 22:56

I absolutely love Anne's outfit there. Looks like a carefully thought out designer ensemble, although probably it was merely warm, clean and considered appropriate😂 Her boots look like comfy Fairfax and Favor.
Cams looks lovely in that shade of green but it would have looked better with a higher up belt.
Sophie looks nice - more interesting colours than plain black or navy.

justasking111 · 13/03/2024 23:01

I've just heard a journalist saying that Camilla is absolutely bossing it at the palace behind the scenes taking on the extra work. I wonder if having her sister at her back is a great plus for her.

Bet there's a few ruffled feathers in the department of grey men 😂😂

Papergirl1968 · 13/03/2024 23:07

The Mail said Sophie’s suit was black but I’d guess dark brown as she wore it with light brown boots.
I know Leti has a foot problem but I think her shoes are fugly. They’re supposed to be loafers but they’re at the clumpier end of the spectrum.

SqueakyDinosaur · 14/03/2024 00:31

@Maireas , I've just come across the Connaught Shamrock Tiara courtesy of the Royal Watcher on Twitter. If it's not taken, please can I have it? I think it would be a very useful everyday one.

That's a lovely one, @SqueakyDinosaur - very wearable. I'm putting it against your name on the Spreadsheet of Splendour as we speak!

@nique has a Connaught tiara, but I don't think it's this one.

Did anyone see Camilla's horseshoe brooch she wore at Cheltenham? What was the message on it?

Meanwhile, somewhere in Clarence House, the King is singing “I’m Just Charles”…

“IM JUST KING 🤴 NO-ONE ELSE I’D RATHER BRING”

It spells out the name of one of Edward VII’s champion racehorses, apparently!

Camilla has been dipping into the brooch vaults, I am pleased to see. This aquamarine brooch belonged to Queen Alexandra, say the experts.

It spelled out in diamonds a Japanese word Minoru.
A racehorse owned by Edward V11 was called that.
Minoru won the Epsom Derby in 1909.

Letizia in her latest official act in Zarzuela. Many of you are going to say what on earth is she wearing, but I genuinely love that Letizia is changing the way royal fashion has been perceived for decades, by wearing comfortable and a down to earth style the younger Spanish generations identify with, instead of the older "queen Sofia" style.

I love Leti's outfit, but agree with pp that the shoes are hideous. I know she has foot problems but there must be shoes that are not towering stilettos or the clumpiest loafers known to man.

I actually like the shoes. 😊One of the things I love about her is her lack of fear in wearing what she wants these days. After years of having to conform to what the Sofia and Juan Carlos press wanted of her, she's found the freedom in wearing what the majority of young Spaniards wear. And kudos to her. She is really making a difference in "royal style" in Spain.

I quite like the shoes, I’m quite partial to a clumpy loafer myself, it’s just that I think with a straight ish trouser in that particular colour she is giving off “electrician “ vibes iyswim

Alondra · 14/03/2024 12:39

At least she's not boring. One day she's wearing chunky loafers and the next is wearing pink kitten heel shoes. 😊

Ooh are they sling back kitten heels do you know? I really like the idea of sling backs but they always fall off my heels 😆
