Morning! I'm starting a new thread before I go to work as it may get filled before this evening.

I love the full skirted style of Leti's dress but I'm not keen on that large floral print.

KillingMeDeftIy · 23/02/2024 08:04

I like Leti’s dress, I actually prefer her bespoke (I assume) version to the original.

KillingMeDeftIy · 23/02/2024 08:10

Meghan out at lunch in Beverly Hills with Clare Waight Keller. I do love a MaxMara coat and the flats are cute.

I thought that look had all the potential but ended up in the hot mess category as the blacks were mismatched, everything looked far too big for her, the pop of cobalt on the (fab) shoes seemed to completely out of place and, to top it, those are one of the most unflattering pair of sunglasses I’ve ever seen!

It's wearing her a bit isn't it? It's not one of my faves, she looks so much better in classic elegant separates.

The green trousers suit is very polyester air hostess.

justasking111 · 23/02/2024 09:01

The top and trousers drowned Meghan especially around the waist. The coat fabric didn't photograph well flashlights perhaps. I loved the shoes.

eggandonion · 23/02/2024 09:17

The Duchess of Gloucester is very chic...it is nice to see the people who were being slimmed down helping out now.
What height is Meghan? I think she needs to go for the petite range. As do I. Although i am more baby elephant than little elf shape.

KillingMeDeftIy · 23/02/2024 09:25

Apparently she’s 5’6 but I’m not sure if that‘s accurate. Even in her highest heels she seems considerably smaller than Harry, who must be a little over 6ft.

LadyEloise1 · 23/02/2024 09:27

Leti looked lovely.

CPV's green suit reminded me of Aer Lingus air hostesses Smile

Meghan's trousers were dreadful. Far too big for her.
She loves a big belted coat but I don't think they suit her.

KillingMeDeftIy · 23/02/2024 09:30

Random fact I learned today is that Meghan flips her hair to one side before putting her beanie on and apparently that prevents flat hat hair!

themessygarden · 23/02/2024 10:03

I doubt she is 5'6, she looks much more petite and Catherine is 5'9, she can't possibly be only 3 inches shorter than Catherine.

Lots of celebrities overstate their height.

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 23/02/2024 10:13

That outfit swamps her. I’m not sure how she makes herself look so short and wide when she is neither. I really wish she would stop wearing high waisted trousers, they make her look so boxy and like she doesn’t have a waist or torso.

eggandonion · 23/02/2024 11:10

She is better really casual or really glamorous. Lunch with chums isn't so good on her.
Says the person wearing a grubby fleece and jeggings while snacking on instant coffee and jaffa cakes. Although I don't think Meghan has a dress code for thorough clean of bathrooms.
I hope Kate has a nice pile of glossy magazines and is having a good rest.

LadyEloise1 · 23/02/2024 13:00

"........I don't think Meghan has a dress code for thorough clean of bathrooms......"

I agree @eggandonion Smile

LivelyBlake · 23/02/2024 14:26

Meghan's coat has a strange sheen to it and the sleeves are too long for her. I do like her sunglasses though, and the shoes. Although not with this outfit.

SqueakyDinosaur · 23/02/2024 14:27

Meghan's coat looks far too big and bulky for California, even in February.

DoYouWantToStartACultWithMe · 23/02/2024 14:29

Yeah the whole overall effect of the outfit is just...messy.

Eaumyword · 23/02/2024 15:44

Hair, shades and makeup look spot on. Trousers do look way too big.

Maireas · 23/02/2024 16:27

I do like Meghan's flat shoes. Great sunnies.
I usually like Max Mara, but I'm not keen on that kind of shiny fabric finish on the coat.

Imagine trousers that are too big...I have the opposite issue. I love vanity sizing.

I think Aer Lingus has always been more St Patrick's Blue mixed with green rather than green but I can see why you think that. Maybe she's getting ready for 17 March - not long now!

BonzoGates · 23/02/2024 17:53

Some of the older Aer Lingus uniforms are more green though 😁. Always feel homesick when I see an Aer Lingus plane

That green at the front is lovely, though.
This is where we need the parade of Kate's green coats to measure the greeness...

Absolutely Maireas. Green looks lovely on her.

GrouchyKiwi · 23/02/2024 19:25

Not a fan of that coat on Meghan (or anyone). Looks like a dressing gown, like she's borrowed it from Victor Meldrew.

I'm really missing Kate being out and about and seeing what's she's wearing. I hope she's recovering well.
