What jeans are we all wearing atm?

I'm not wearing any at the moment but I want to buy a pair. Preferably on Vinted as I'm poor and trying to be sustainable ( mostly poor).
I have a pair of straight legged jeans by Levis but they are baggy round the bum.
I have some flared jeans by Shein which are ok.
I got out of the habit if wearing jeans as they aren't always comfy round the waist but I like the fact they are timeless and go with everything.
I am a slim size 12.

I just ordered a pair of Primark straight jeans from Vinted to try as fed up with wet hems.
I tried flared as I lived in them for about 10 years pre skinny jeans but I can't get on with them.

I got jeans from Vinted called Boyfit by Next that are nice (they don't do them in shops any more) sort of in between straight and wide leg and full length. A good compromise if you don't want full wide leg jeans.

I did actually buy another straight leg pair, but something just didn't seem right with the back pockets. They seem to be bigger and lower now. This was one thing that made them so perfect, was the pocket placement. These made my butt look flat. I feel I am a ribcage expert as I have many pairs and none of the others do this.

So I took them with me and went instore and did a proper try on. Wide leg are fabulous. And the pockets are right.

posting on this thread made G-star sale pop up on my feed and now I’ve bought 2 more pairs of Kates. MN!! I blame you for my no buy Jan fail!!

Mostly M&S button-fly straight jeans from 2 years ago - my perfect jeans. Though sometimes wearing M&S, supposedly cropped, flared jeans, that are properly full length on me & a really good shape & other times properly cropped flared ones that are genuinely cropped from before they elongated the length. Now to my genuine befuddlement M&S are changing the lengths again 🤔

I failed as well, so you are not alone.

In my defence, mine were on a good sale and my size is usually the first to sell out.
