Tobacco / Woods perfume

...is what I'm looking for - maybe with some spice/oriental, maybe some vanilla. No heavy florals if possible - jasmine gives me a bad headache. Happy to pay through the nose for the right one. I tried Byredo's 'Tobacco Mandarin' today which was nearly there but a bit to fruity. Can anyone recommend anything? Thank-you!

This is beautiful, not floral at all in my opinion, quite unusual but one of my favourites.

I love Dear Polly. It doesn’t have tobacco as an actual scent in it but it smells like a smoker … I don’t really know how to explain it and do it justice. My fave💕 Sorry if I misunderstood the tobacco assignment

My kids have an SDJ one, that's exactly what it smells like. It's the yellow one

What you're looking for is my all time favourite scent, la fumee by Miller Harris

Sadly it is discontinued so you will have to settle for Tom ford, which is good but nowhere near as good as la fumee

@PoolNoodles I actually tried the Ffern Autumn 23 batch and the smokeyness was just too harsh and...thin? for me; gutted, because from the notes it sounds exactly right.

Tom Ford Tobacco Oud. Pricey though. Molten Brown have a Leather and a Tobacco but I can't recall their full names.

Those who know - how different are the TF Tobacco/Vanilla and Tobacco/Oud?

I came on to suggest Dear Polly like previous pp. It’s very tobacco scented. Another is Milton Brown Tobacco Absoute.

Miller Harris do something like Tabac en Rose. Not for me though. Definitely a tobacco scent.

Definitely Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. It's divine.

If you also like honey, Serge Lutens Chergui and Diptyque Volutes are both really lovely tobacco and honey scents.

Agree re the TF one. Also, maybe Born to be different’s Drunk Saffron? Try a sample first, it’s expensive but awesome
