It’s for the ceremony of my daughter’s bat mitzvah so similar to mother of the bride but 10-20 years younger! I’ll get it shortened and possibly change the shoes. The photos are bad because I have no idea how to pose for selfies.

Unfortunately the top half looks loose across the bust and on her shoulders- at least a size too big- and the sleeves are far too big, neither real elbow length or short sleeves. It's a bad design, all of of proportion. No reflection on the OP at all, but whoever designed it needs to go back to design school.

The skirt looks as if it's pulling across the hips and is tight across the bottom.

TBH the quality of the fabric doesn't look great because the lace seems to 'sag' on the lining.

Agreed. It doesn’t really suit OP’s figure and I’m sure she can find something much more flattering.

You have a great figure OP but the dress just doesn't do you justice! I think there's too much going on and it's a bit ill fitting in some places.

The colour is lovely though so I'd definitely try and find something similar.

I’m surprised at these comments as I really love the dress OP!! I don’t normally like fussy styles but I think the elements work together really well.

The only issue is the chest area - you say you’re big up top but the photos make it look as if you’ve got small boobs that don’t fill the dress properly. Theres too much fabric there - the crossover needs to sit snugger to make the floaty sleeves work. The V also looks as if it’s sitting too low. Maybe a different bra and some adjustments in the chest crossover and the dress will be perfect!

ps - I don’t like many of the other dresses suggested here either so I guess we have similar taste 😂🤷‍♀️

This. I think you should have a play pinning the cross over in different ways and work out how to improve the side profile

I am pear shape too and not easy to get dressy dresses. If it isn’t out of your budget look at Bombshell, especially in the sale.

Really like the dress, but not keen on the shoes which look a bit frumpy. Different shoes and some nice jewellery would make a lot of difference.

I like the dress, the cut is classy. Not the shoes though. Too prim. You need something with a bolder line.
