Fabulous tinted moisturizer / BB cream

I'm 50, don't use foundation as it feels too heavy but think I look better with just a little evening out of my skin.

I have bought a few from superdrug but they seem to look yellow on me or accentuate my pores. I'm cool toned, pink-ish (controlled with soolantra).

I used to happily use an M&S Autograph BB cream in 'cool' but it's been discontinued.

Happy to splash out on something fabulous.

Have a look at Erborian BB cream. I'm 53 and it does wonderful things for my skin making it look fantastic but completely natural. I won't use anything else now. Amazing stuff!!

(I'm less of a fan of their CC cream as the colours just don't work for me).

I use Sculpted by Aimee Tint and Glow. There are loads of colours and it gives you a glow, whilst also giving nice coverage. Every day people comment on my beautiful skin! It is available online and in Boots and is very reasonable. I have used Laura Mercier in the past and Bobby Brown, but this one is streets ahead.

I love this one! Onto my second tube now 😊

What's Soolantra? I don't think I'm particularly pink in RL but I look so pink on zoom calls, people actually ask me if I'm hot or have been drinking.

I've just bought this after a recommendation on another thread. It's great, just evens out my blotchy skin without looking 'made up'.

Soolantra is for rosacea. Prescription only, amazing product.

I love your description- just what I want. How do you find the shades? I would choose Clair but one reviewer said it makes them look orange?

Trinny London BFF cream is brilliant. Its white, then changes colour, its just Brilliant stuff

@Chewbecca I wear Nude and it looks seamless. I tried Clair in the CC cream and that was too orange for me.

You can buy travel size ones to try - or buy some of their other skincare etc and choose free samples of the BB cream to try out the shades.

I was coming on to say Erboriam too. If you have a Space NK near you you can go in and use the testers. I’m also a fan of their CC dull correcting cream which changes to suit your skin tone.

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser has been both mine and 19 year old DD’s go to for years now - amazing stuff! Feels so light on your face, not greasy at all yet still moisturising and buildable so you can have as much or as little coverage as you want. Fabulous shade range too. DD is very pink toned and has found it to be the only brand that matches her skin - she uses the shade Cameo and it’s perfect

This is fabulous @Chewbecca , I have worn it for years. I'm in my 50's and it makes my skin look wonderful. I get so many compliments, it's a gem. I couldn't use anything else now.

Erborian oxidises on me and looks orange which is a shame as I love the formula.

I really like the Nars tinted moisturiser at the moment and they have a good shade range.

Erborian CC and Dr Sam tinted Spf work a treat for me

I had a tube of Erborian in a beauty box and I loved it. Ordered through their website and it never arrived. They weren't particularly bothered, which has put me off Erborian, even though the cream was good.

I really miss Clinique City Block! That was perfection for me. I'm currently on the CC cream equivalent and it's just OK. Will definitely be trying some of the recommendations on here.

Vote for Eboriam too, I wear clair bb cream.

oddly the clair CC cream is too orange on me. Though better in summer.

I have tried loads and it’s the best one. I usually buy it when it’s on offer from Sephora/boots/space nk.

Another Erborian vote - personally I love the CC cream - it’s not orange on me at all but absolutely amazing. I have not idea what secret magic they put in it but it doesn’t look like I’m wearing foundation at all, but my skin looks smooth and even in tone.
I use Clair in winter and Dore in summer.
See if you can get some testers and try them out - it sounds like they vary on skin tones/types.

Just as a drip or drops of moisturiser to any foundation and make your own tinted moisturiser.
