Queen Silvia in a rather muted silver beaded gown with a huge set of diamond and sapphire (I think) jewellery - tiara, necklace and earrings

Yes - I don't really think that pale colours suit Queen Silvia - she would have looked fab with a sapphire gown with the jewels. But the jewellery set is great

I think it is the milky coffee colour behind the silver that is putting me off. Otherwise I’d love it.

Do agree that she’d look great in a jewel colour.

The cap sleeve carry on I do not care for. Projection of course. I have chunky gammon arms and cappy sleeves not only look hideous on me but cut off circulation.

I really LOVE the visit by KM and the kids to the baby bank - this will be so impactful! I've already seen a few posts on local SM this morning asking where the nearest back banks are for making donations 😊 I am frequently critical of her EY stuff being all talk/conferences etc and little action, but this is just great and exactly what I want to see more of. Lovely to involve the kids too. And I am coveting those Chloe boots 😄

The video of the children at the foodbank is very cute - all very engaged and properly thinking about the task. George is coming out of his shell a bit, too, I think, and starting to take on the air of quiet confidence one must cultivate as a coming monarch.

Also CPV is wearing one of my tiaras (in the photo with the black and white dress). I think it was quite generous of me to lend it to her.

The Monaco Christmas card is actually christmassy. Our royals weirdly swerve any hint of Christmas. Afraid to offend someone? I find them so anodyne to be honest.
