Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Happy opening everybody, enjoy!

I need help with this one please before I open it...

I'd usually use a coloured one.. what can I expect this to do? Anything other than hold in place?

I won't open it if I'm not likely to use it, so I can pass it on.

Thanks.

Day 10 we have a 'brow tamer' in a clear gel... not sure if ever use this?! I have a dark brow thing I use to add a bit of colour so don't think a clear one will do much for me. Wondering how others use this and what you think of it?

Just tried it, it's good. Very easy to use and made my brows look thicker and much tidier. Thumbs up from me!

I use a clear one. I have my brows waxed and tinted so just brush over.

bogoblin · 10/12/2023 09:09

I use a clear one to hold my brows in place if I've filled them in with pencil! Otherwise I use benefit gimme brow

greencheetah · 10/12/2023 09:22

Oh dear! Another miss for me. I am old and my brows are very sparse and pale. I get them waxed and tinted but the last thing they need is “taming” Will regift.

User136921 · 10/12/2023 09:28

Not for me this one, I will put it unopened in the charity bag ones

NeedWineNow · 10/12/2023 09:53

Happy with today’s offering. I use Benefit Gimme Brow as a rule but like a clear tamer for non makeup days and for holidays when I have my eyebrows tinted.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 10/12/2023 10:03

Not for me this one, simply because it's not the kind of product I use. I have this and a mini of the benefit one from another box that I need to sell/swap/relieve myself of.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 10/12/2023 10:11

I have massive brows so the coloured ones are a bit much, looking forward to trying this.

ExpensiveDecorations · 10/12/2023 10:25

No use to me, I lost about 99% of the hair in my brows to alopecia years ago, they are tattooed now.

User136921 · 10/12/2023 10:28

I think if I had been younger I would have used the brow gel but my sparser brows would not benefit from gel now.

15PiecesOfFlair · 10/12/2023 10:41

Not feeling too bad about not having the calendar now as I still have this, the regular Elasticiser, Nuxe oil and the gold nail varnish from 2/3 years ago! Probably should go through and chuck stuff out....

Best things I've had in previous cals were the Emma Hardie balm, eyeko liquid eyeliner in black, and a smudge stick (Stila?) that doesn't really last all day but is good for a quick application. Oh and best ever for someone who doesn't wear lipstick normally was the Rosie for Autograph Supermodel Smile lip glossy thing, the one thing I'd buy over and over and they discontinued it....

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/12/2023 10:43

Not very interested in this. I have 'tame' eyebrows anyway and rarely touch them. However, I tried it and it feels very pleasant to use, so I might aim to tame a little.

Growlybear83 · 10/12/2023 10:44

Yet another disappointment for me. I think there have been only two things so far that I'm likely to use. Unless the next two weeks improves, I wont be buying this calendar again next year.

fetchacloth · 10/12/2023 10:51

20% off beauty gift sets today. Something I've never ever purchased from M&S ever.
I despair😪

Issummernearlyover · 10/12/2023 10:52

Beauty sets are grim. They do the rounds of every raffle round here. Win one and donate on repeat. Even if it were 90 per cent off, I wouldn't buy one.

FinallyFinalGirl · 10/12/2023 10:56

First real dud for me. I have to draw on my eyebrows so this is useless.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 10/12/2023 11:34

Pleased with today's, I've been using one from b&m for ever, and it's almost run out. I intended to buy one the other day, but forgot.

I certainly wouldn't have spent 12 quid on one!

Moofart · 10/12/2023 11:48

This is one I'll use but I can see how this would be a dud for a lot of people as it's quite a specific one. Not everyone has eyebrows that need gel or would prefer coloured ones to add shape/ colour.

Malbecmoron · 10/12/2023 12:10

Bugger, I opened the wrong one. Tomorrow's is good....

Tangomango1 · 10/12/2023 12:14

I am looking forward to giving this a go later. It is not something I would ever buy myself & my eyebrows are ombré tattooed on and this should help taming the hairs over the top.

Yesterday's serum even though a teeny weeny size, was lovely on & made my skin feel incredibly soft. I would never buy it myself as too £££ but it is great to try.

RepetitiveMotion · 10/12/2023 12:43

DD has this calendar and was delighted with today’s. I think Pixi is on trend atm. She’s been a bit meh with a lot of it - will try the hair products and body creams, the lip gloss/lipstick not so much. She gave me the gold nail polish to give to my sister who will love it.

The size of the £££ one yesterday felt a bit ridiculous. I know it is v expensive but it does still feel like a free sample.

NoAprilFool · 10/12/2023 13:05

I used the serum last night and wasn’t impressed. I may have been too miserly with the quantity as trying to make it last but it didn’t do anything.

I don’t ever do anything with my brows so will pass today's onto DD, she’ll be delighted

Buster27 · 10/12/2023 18:27

Today's isn't something I'd buy but quite keen to try it out. Will see what I think of it tomorrow.
