Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Happy opening everybody, enjoy!

I was hoping for this type of product but it’s a very small size! It’s very spenny though.

I will look forward to trying it.

VeronicaBeccabunga · 09/12/2023 08:49

Blimey! Today's serum costs £57.00 for 30ml [on their website]
And to think that I just smeared a good fivers-worth on the back of my hand to see if it either smells funny or stings 😂

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2023 09:32

Today’s looks hardly worth the bother. I always think serums are a triumph of hope over reality at the best of times anyway. Have slapped some on and it’s a bit tingly.

This made me laugh 😂

I was quite happy to get this and tried this morning. No tingling but also no noticeable plumping Grin felt quite nice to apply.

Gosh its teeny tiny, hardly enough to see if its worth buying :/

Ilikeyoursleeves · 09/12/2023 10:19

Wow it's teeny! Day 9 is a serum by Filorga which I shall try once my current serum is finished. I never actually know what serums do?! lol at the person who's smeared a fivers worth on her hand already

Well today's offering is a bit dinky isn't it? Having said that I've tried a little bit (but possibly not a fiver's worth 😂) on the back of my hand and it does feel lovely. I've chucked it in my spares box as it will be fine for an overnight stay that I've got coming up early in the New Year.

NeedWineNow · 09/12/2023 10:33

Forgot about yesterday's conditioner. Again a bit small, but a handy 'try me' size.

weyaye · 09/12/2023 10:41

I'm a complete novice, would today's be safe to use after my usual Paula's choice bha?

itsnothingoriginal · 09/12/2023 11:00

Only 7ml so very tiny again today but maybe enough to try out a couple of times?

Hoping there's better to come ....I only glanced at the list of contents before buying as wanted to be a surprise. My menopause brain can only remember a few of the products in there 😂

HeyBulldog · 09/12/2023 11:14

This is the description of todays on the M&S website "The plumping anti-wrinkle serum inspired by Filorga's expertise in injectables, incorporates 5 types of hyaluronic acid of natural origin to hydrate, plump and smooth the skin"

So a hyaluronic acid basically. Seems to have good reviews though. It's small but I reckon it will last a few tries and again, good for the work travel bag.

CointreauVersial · 09/12/2023 12:10

Today's is a bit tiddly, but serum goes quite a long way, so you'd get a few uses out of it. Will definitely use.

TokyoSushi · 09/12/2023 12:12

Well the serum feels lovely on my skin, but agree it's tiny and too £££ repurchase. But I'll enjoy seeing how the other half live using this for a couple of days!

Not sure how a young crept in there!

Wow this is dinky! Still looking at the full price I can see why. Will throw this in the holiday toiletries bag I think...

MrsRuldolph · 09/12/2023 12:38

Thank you for making me look at the serum properly...

I was quite disappointed...looked like a cheap freebie that had been chucked in to bulk it out.

I never normally use one so I'll give it a go x

Chickenwing2 · 09/12/2023 15:05

I didn't realise how runny it was, and spilt a load on my jeans Xmas Angry

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2023 15:55

Just tried the nail varnish. Hate it on my finger nails but okay on toes.

OggyBunsen · 09/12/2023 16:38

Today's smells amazing, but made my face itchy. This plus the PK were misses for me, but overall, I'm really enjoying the Advent calendar and think it was well worth the money.

FinallyFinalGirl · 09/12/2023 19:26

Happy with today's, despite it being a serum obviously made for Thumbelina. I love Filorga Time Filler so hopeful this one will be just as effective.

itsnothingoriginal · 10/12/2023 08:49

Oh good... happy with this one today. I just need to keep it hidden from DD who would definitely want it (fortunately still asleep so will squirrel away in my makeup bag!)

grayhairdontcare · 10/12/2023 08:50

Love todays.
