Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Happy opening everybody, enjoy!

Very unexcited about the clear brow stuff. Do people's eyebrows really get so messy they need a gel? Maybe some do.
Not going to open, will swap or donate. Got a similar thing in the Liberty calendar last year and it's still sitting in the back of a drawer.

FluffActually · 10/12/2023 20:52

Brows on fleek is probably a generational thing. I'm too old to bother much, but the weeuns in my family would fight over it.

CointreauVersial · 10/12/2023 21:25

Hmm....I'm a Benefit Gimme Brow girl, so I like a tinted gel rather than a clear one. Although i can see it would work well in conjunction with a pencil.

I know DD1 would love it, though, so maybe a stocking filler for her.

SgtJuneAckland · 10/12/2023 21:55

Also unexcited about the brow gel, I use Glossier boy brow when I bother which is tinted, I have one eyebrow hair that if I let it grow goes white halfway along.
Also not a fan of the gold nail varnish , still have the one from last year. Niece will like it though. The serum a couple of days ago was also miniscule. Definite downward trend for me over the last few days

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 10/12/2023 22:00

I'm the same as you @CointreauVersial a Gimme Brow Girl so the Pixi Clear Brow Gel will be swapped, sold or given away.

Catching up with the other items in the Advent Calendar - love the This Works Sleep Cocoon Cream, like the Pixi Lip Gloss & the Filorga Serum.
The Nails Inc Bronze Nail Polish is ok but like The Elasticizer they get put in the M&S a/c every year.
Really want something different or my favourites again which are the Living Proof Dry Shampoo, the Nuxe Firming Powdery Cream & the Alpha H Liquid Gold.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 10/12/2023 22:13

@Lemonademoney we did a swap thing with last years M&S Beauty a/c last year & the year before that & so on.
So I'm definitely up for it!

WombatCowgirl · 11/12/2023 07:03

Although I do like today's, the enormously long boxes are leaving me feeling a little short-changed when the product doesn't fill the box- silly I know!

CointreauVersial · 11/12/2023 07:53

@TracyBeakerSoYeah it's not the usual Elasticizer this year, which you use before washing your hair, this one is basically a conditioner.

NeedWineNow · 11/12/2023 08:02

Very happy with today’s as it’s a product I use daily and voucher which was also in the box is for something I’ve been interested in trying.

Moofart · 11/12/2023 08:05

Happy with today's as this is a product I regularly buy. I've not heard of the product on the voucher.

greencheetah · 11/12/2023 08:09

Very happy with today’s Clinique moisturiser. Exactly the sort of product I want to sample.

Buster27 · 11/12/2023 08:28

Also pleased with today's. Haven't had it before so looking forward to sampling.

itsnothingoriginal · 11/12/2023 08:46

I use and like this moisturiser so is great to have a useful travel size!

I'm surprised this year as they usually have the sleep cream in the M&S calendars (my skin reacts to it so will pass the voucher on!)

jojom10 · 11/12/2023 09:04

Very pleased with today's as it's a lovely product and perfect size for travelling. Nice to get the voucher as well as the sleep cream is lovely.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 11/12/2023 09:17

Ooh, is today Clinique Moisture Surge? I've got a 15ml tub on the bathroom windowsill that's nearly empty. I may have to go and investigate (DD has been opening the boxes for me, but is poorly so not seen it yet)

Tangomango1 · 11/12/2023 09:33

I haven't tried this moisturiser before so I am pleased with today's.

Will put some on DH's face later this evening as he has got dry skin, that he gets every winter so I hope this helps him.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 11/12/2023 09:54

Today's is very nice, very pleased with that one!

MrsWidgerysLodger · 11/12/2023 10:08

Loving today's offering. I had a sample size of this not long back and really liked it. The voucher for the sleep cream is a nice addition too.

NoAprilFool · 11/12/2023 11:21

Very pleased with today’s moisturiser. I’ve used it before and it’s lovely.
will move onto that once I’ve finished the Murad (loving that but not sure I can justify purchasing!)

Ilikeyoursleeves · 11/12/2023 12:59

Happy with today's too! (Clinique Moisture Surge 15ml, forgot to take photo this morn). I'm also moving on to that after I finish the Murad one. I've used it before and it was great if I recall

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/12/2023 13:23

Today's will definitely get used on trips away. Not interested in the voucher.

Possimpible · 11/12/2023 15:54

Lurking - what is the voucher for? Is it the Formula Ultimate Sleep Cream? If so, it's amazing. I don't understand why not just give you the cream though - you could understand if it was makeup and a voucher would give you choice of colour?

It's a £5 off voucher rather than for the full price.

Possimpible · 11/12/2023 17:01

@LivingDeadGirlUK Oh... Bit underwhelming! I'd use it tbf, and I guess in addition to the Clinique it's okayyyy

Lemonademoney · 11/12/2023 18:32

Today is a win!
