I had a look online for instructions as I had never used it before and you use it as well as your normal conditioner on the dry bits, it says it's for dry hair. I used some this morning on my dry frizzy bits at the front, I have curly hair and it does feel a bit softer and looks better, that small tube will last ages as I'm not doing my whole head.

Refurbishmentino · 08/12/2023 08:42

Love todays. It was in last years calendar and I used it on DD’s waist length hair and it was amazing. I repurchased, its about £15!

MrsWidgerysLodger · 08/12/2023 09:22

Not excited by todays but I will definitely use it. Just be aware that it's the elastisizer booster not the original elastisizer so it's used differently to the original.

clowniform · 08/12/2023 09:38

So it seems like this is more of a normal conditioner? I don't mind this range, though am never wowed enough to spend money on it. Moot point as they're such a beauty box/GWP mainstay.

Houseplanter · 08/12/2023 09:56

Underwhelmed here too but I think only cos been so impressed so far.

Will be ok for a weekend away.

Buster27 · 08/12/2023 10:03

I'm happy enough with today's, they come in handy for weekends away/gym. I do prefer a set though so would have liked the shampoo too!

Nowtbettertodo · 08/12/2023 10:39

Opened all mine as soon as I got it as I wanted to use the bag for a trip away. Following with interest though to see what you think. I used today's offering on said trip away. It was ok, not inspired to rush out and buy more.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 08/12/2023 10:49

I use the PK swimcap and it's quite good (but a bugger to wash out!) so I'm trying to be hopeful for this one. Immediate reaction was a bit underwhelmed but it should come in handy for the swim bag if nothing else.

ExpensiveDecorations · 08/12/2023 11:32

I could have done with this last night, I went swimming and didn’t have any conditioner in my pool bag, my hair is a frizzy halo now. Might try some of the P&R hair oil on it. Here are my gold nails

So I've been a complete tool and opened day 18 instead Grin which is gorgeous and actually, better than day 8!

Yesterday was the first day I've been underwhelmed. Like others I get gel nails done every 3-4 weeks. I only paint my toes in the summer so might try it then but it doesnt shout summer at me. I think I'll use today's - great for a night or two away - just relieved it wasn't the main Elasticizer as I've already got a collection of them from previous calendars!

I definitely rate the hair oil. Put some on this morning after washing my fine, shoulder length hair which kinks rather than curls. Blow dried it only when it was almost dry and it has dried nice and straight and I think looks like it has more body.

BlowingAway · 08/12/2023 15:32

I actually like the gold varnish. Festive. I managed to chip it immediately and then added a little more over the top and it looked fine unlike with other colours. So it might be pretty useful if you can fix it without redoing the nail.

Meh to the conditioner.

CointreauVersial · 08/12/2023 15:51

Missed a few days.....

The This Works Body Cream is a "meh" from me. I have a tube already, from a previous box, and I've only used it a couple of times, as I just don't use this sort of thing in the evening. But I will pass it on to DS's GF, who is a nurse, and needs all the help she can get switching off after a night shift.

The Gold nail varnish will join the two identical ones in my drawer. I do like it, very festive, but I have enough now, thanks.....

The PK Conditioner will be perfect on my dry-as-the-Sahara hair. It's a great brand.

Roll on tomorrow.

greencheetah · 08/12/2023 15:53

Absolutely not for me. I wear silver, not gold. Will gift this.

itsnothingoriginal · 08/12/2023 16:09

I wanted to try the elasticizer but that's a ridiculously weeny tube!!

It looks like one application at the most and not really enough to decide if it suits my hair or not 🤷‍♀️

Yesterday was another one for DD as I don't wear coloured nail varnish. Ah well at least I did know there were a few DOD for me when I bought the calendar... 😅

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/12/2023 16:39

I like Elasticiser. How is this one different?

The hair oil is still my favourite so far.

Lemonademoney · 08/12/2023 16:45

I’m wonder if we should do a swap at the end of this as we all seem to like different bits of the calendar?

greencheetah · 08/12/2023 16:49

Oh yes, I am a bit behind! I am happy with the conditioner, great for weekend breaks.

HeyBulldog · 08/12/2023 18:55

Agree that todays is very tiny! I suppose it's ok for one use or maybe for travel.

I like the nail varnish but will probably only use on my toes.

So far my favourite day has been day one, I've been wearing the lipstick most days!

FluffActually · 08/12/2023 20:03

Today's is boring but usable, and better than another gold frosty thing. Is M&S' target customer for this calendar going to a fancy dress party as C-3PO ??

NotMyDayJob · 08/12/2023 22:25

MrsWidgerysLodger · 07/12/2023 09:23

Hold doesn't sit well on me so I think I'll let DD have this (She's only 6 but I'll let her have it on for parties etc). This is the first "miss" for me out of the whole calendar though, so I'm doing well so far!!

My six year old loves the gold varnish. We've already done her toe nails as a treat but fingers nails have to wait until school breaks up

Chickenwing2 · 09/12/2023 08:08

I'm not too sure about today's. I don't like the word plumping as it makes me think it will sting Confused

Lemonademoney · 09/12/2023 08:30

Another one that looks like a freebie…. After a fairly strong start, the past couple of days have left me unimpressed.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 09/12/2023 08:40

I've just got round to opening the last two days. Didn't realise how small people meant the PK was. Also, yes, today's is a free sample.
