I do this and it helps to use up the zillion sprays I've accumulated over the years from my beauty addiction and find if I spray my pillow at home a few times a week (even if having a rare good sleep spell) it's even more effective when I'm away. Must make the smell very familiar to my brain or something

Same. I didn't think it would work but I tried it the first time when I was struggling due to peri-menopause and it was amazing!

Clarabellawilliamson · 06/12/2023 13:06

I have an update on the hair oil! I tried it Sunday and let my hair air dry and didn't think much to it, but yesterday I used it and blow dried it. An A level student I teach asked me if I had done something different to my hair because it looked nice! That's a win for me. Grin

I'm enjoying M&S much more than I thought I would. It's a better calendar in person than it looked in pictures.

Yes I agree! I slightly regretted buying it for a while after but I'm glad I did now as I've been loving it.

ItsTapasTime · 06/12/2023 18:29

@Clarabellawilliamson yes! I blowed dried my usually grease prone, thin, lank hair and I’m now on day 3 (2 1/2) without washing. I really like this product and up for a swap if anyone is interested.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 06/12/2023 18:49

I think it's an amazing calendar so far given it was only £45! That lotion today alone is £25!

clowniform · 06/12/2023 19:59

I'm also impressed (despite both makeup things being howlers). This was a gift and my first time opening M&S, and I will most likely buy it for myself next year.

Babyroobs · 06/12/2023 20:02

Loving the murat moisturizer. It makes my skin feel lovely.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/12/2023 20:15

Today's lotion is lovely, but no way is it worth £25 imo. Anybody who would buy that at full price was seen coming.

SgtJuneAckland · 06/12/2023 20:19

I wasn't keen on the lipstick as I don't really wear it, but I tried it at the weekend and it was very moisturising and subtle so I will use it! I liked the gloss today too. Nuxe oil smells lovely I've just been using it on my hands/elbows so I smell nice!
The hair oil I haven't tried because it says volumising and I have big hair already....
I'm about to wash my hair to dry it so I can straighten in the morning (I mainly wear it naturally curly). How do I use this? On wet hair before it dries?

Also love this works sleep products and use the spray most nights, I'd run out of this cream so happy to have it back.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 06/12/2023 20:44

I just tried the cream from today and I really love the smell. I will slather it on at bedtime and see how I sleep in my body cream cocoon!

I love this one too. It actually does what it says...I sleep quicker and better when I slather myself in this 'cocoon'. I agree with a PP that it is overpriced so don't buy it but LOVE to see it in a calendar or box.

BlowingAway · 06/12/2023 22:00

Looking forward to trying the cream tonight.

I have big curly hair and the Percy oil stuff worked well for me.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/12/2023 00:09

Ironically, I'm still wide awake despite being really tired. The cream has failed me.

ApolloandDaphne · 07/12/2023 07:30

A gold nail polish this morning. I get gel nails every three weeks so I won't be using this one. I will see if my DDs would like it but I'm not sure it's for them either.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 07/12/2023 07:33

Day 7 is a gold nail p

Oooh, I like gold nail polish. I wear silver rings and silver nails never look right but the contrast with gold works well and I like a seasonal metallic. Makes a change from the reds they usually seem to do.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 07/12/2023 07:35

Sorry! A good nail polish by Nails Inc. Not really my colour but I might give it a whirl since it's Xmas! Or give it away....

It's the first day I'm a bit meh about. But I said I was going to try all the things in each door so I will put it on over the weekend perhaps!

Ilikeyoursleeves · 07/12/2023 07:36

A GOLD nail polish (not 'good' nail polish) it's clearly too early for me!!

Userengage · 07/12/2023 07:46

Disappointingly, it’s almost the same gold polish that they had in the calendar a couple of years ago.

User136921 · 07/12/2023 07:50

It is not the sort of thing I would wear as my nails are rubbish but I will save it for my toenails in the summer

CheesyChipsOnWembleyWay · 07/12/2023 07:57

Very similar to a few years ago but dd will love it. It is really nice, to be fair: has a lovely shimmer to it

Moofart · 07/12/2023 08:03

I've just started getting gel nails too so I'm going to pass this to my mum or regift this one I think.

Houseplanter · 07/12/2023 08:07

Another no from me, sadly. Although I know a couple of people who would be delighted with it so will pass it on.

I'm enjoying this even though the products aren't always to my taste (fussy). Happy to share them about.

TokyoSushi · 07/12/2023 08:10

Passed this one onto DD(10) she's very pleased!
