As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads (though also happy for contents of those to be shared here too).

As previously, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - food, jam, socks anyone?

Please do not include spoilers before 7am on the relevant day. Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

I’ll be opening the Vogue and Selfridges calendars this year. Really looking forward to Day 1.

My LF is a liquid eyeliner - I use it and the teen has just pinched mine so I'm pleased with it.

Ciate js a colour called Sweet Like Chocolate which is a nice dark brown. I was thinking about brown nail varnish ish recently so it's come at the right moment.

Day 8 Soap and Glory was a mini Clean On Me shower gel. I quite like that shower gel so pleased with todays offering, a useful size for a weekend away.

Day 8 Boots No 7 Restore and Renew

Lip glaze which I am happy to wear as like the colour and decided the other day I want my makeup to look glossier at times so this will do the trick

I've just eaten the Degustabox fibre bar from a couple of days ago and you could taste every gram of fibre.

I had to have an actual chocolate bar to take the taste away. Envy

Disappointed a little today as the perfume in my Fenwick calendar leaked...two perfumes in one box but the Jayne Ormonde was only about one third full. The silver cap at the top had unscrewed. It's a gorgeous perfume. Just the kind I would wear.

I emailed Customer Service but tbh it was only 8mls and I got to try it.

(Forgive the chipped nail varnish...day 6, I think it was, in Ciate)

Sorry to hear about your perfume @FinallyFinalGirl . Hopefully Fenwicks will sort you out a replacement.
I also got a perfume today from Ok . It was the Commodity Milk
Having initially hated it , it is growing on me a bit now. It is the perfect winter perfume as smells like toasted marshmallows with a woody undertone. A bit sweet for me but I will use it this weekend and see how I get on with it

Day 9 Harrods is a Kylie Jenner clear lip gloss. The packaging is cute and I’ll use it but it’s not the most exciting drawer.

Morning - Day 9 By Terry is a 'Brightening CC Luminizer' pen. Normally like this kind of thing but I swatched on my arm and it was barely noticeable. I will try on my face this morning but, if similar results, it's heading for the bin. It sells itself as a skincare-makeup hybrid product but looks like ended up ineffectual as either.

Day 9

Vogue: Gold hoop earrings. DD will love these, so they are going to be gifted to her.

Selfridges: Also perfume today, Phlur “Missing Person”. I hadn’t heard of this before and was really looking forward to trying it, but unfortunately it turns out to be one of the “your skin but bettter” scents like JHAG Not a Perfume that I am anosmic too.

Today from LF I have a tube of Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanser and a little bottle of C-Tetra Radiance Advance Serum. They sound a bit...harsh? I have sensitive skin, my face doesn't like brightening things. So I might sell them or pop them in stockings, unopened.

Ciate is a clear top coat.

Day 9 Diptyque is a 10ml of Eau Rose. I'm happy that there's been a good mix so far, I wasn't sure if it would end up candle heavy. I love scented candles but I was hoping for perfumes too.

This thread is making me regret not buying LiB and LF!

Hope you get a good response from Fenwicks @FinallyFinalGirl those OJ travel sizes retail for around £30 and it would have been my main motivation to choose that calendar.

After a few days of fairly lazy set dressing, Lego HP day 9 finally yielded Hermione-in-a-hoody, to complete the trio.
