Revlon Flex shampoo and conditioner

For those older ones amongst us gather round. I've just been to Home Bargains and couldn't believe my eyes as they had umpteen bottles of these on the shelves AND.....<drumroll>

they smell exactly the same as the 1970s/80s ones. I was sniffing way and transported back to my youth in an instant.

If only Vidal Sassoon ones would reappear and Wella Lifetex Balsam..I would be a happy woman

I was embarrassingly excited when I found these, they smell incredible! I was transported right back to 90s heaven.

Oh my goodness I remember the smell! I don’t know any home bargains stores though.
I loved green apple shampoo too. Reminds me of Sunday evenings in the bath listening to the top 20 on the radio.

I hold you personally responsible for the fact Womble (shopping trolley) and I will be blocking aisles in Home Bargains this weekend 😁

yes I’ve been buying since I saw this in summer, it smells absolutely delicious.
I just want some henera and original timotei now!

Oh, Timotei!! Thought it would give me beautiful hair like the advert… nope - terrible dry sticking out staticky hair😱 (did love the smell though)

The vidal sassoon shampoo in the brown bottles used to smell like marzipan, good enough to eat!

I never thought I would smell that smell again!!!!

The thought of the smell of Flex transports me back in time though tbh I don't like it that much.

Vidal Sassoon though... that was my posh treat shampoo and conditioner in my teens. I think they had a finishing rinse as well.

The ones I used to really love was camomile shampoo when I was a student in the early 80# - thick and sort of pearly yellow. I thnk it might have been Henara? And the Body Shop camomile shampoo... I gave up on them when they discontinued that.

I was a student nurse in the 80s. In the days of big perms under frilly nurses hats we often had just washed damp hair under our caps

Coming off shift and taking off your hat and letting your hair down and smelling Flex takes me right back to those happy days. Sigh.
