Oh, I didn't notice the Elemis full size product. I'd have put money on it being cleansing balm. However, their radiant skin edit and Lux cleanse edit have been out of stock for months. Both of these include the cleansing balm, so idk. This is what I don't like about mystery stuff. As you say, if you've bought them recently, you run the risk of duplicates. I'd probably just end up with a load of collagen supplements that I don't want.

Gah, I want to be excited by something. I also want the impossible and reduced Diptyque or similar.

@doublecleansed I didn't go through to checkout but it had taken it off, I'm not a higher tier either. Just came up in a banner at the top an extra 10% off for me.

Just seen that Sephora advent has now sold out too. They seem to be all selling out before having to discount this year.

Last year I forlornly stalked Diptyque right to the end, when the site started saying '8 left' etc. Obviously no magic discount appeared.

I'm tempted to try the bridal beauty box, never bought from them before. But I like to find unboxings so I've got an idea what I'm ordering!

Yes, it is a gamble with Bridal Beauty, especially for £100.
And it is correct that buying multiple mystery boxes on the same offer or too close together may result in duplicates.

I’ve found the Black Friday Sales disappointing this year! Was in Oxford St this afternoon & they had a Selfridges Beauty Advent on the shelf, price: £220.
i paid full price last year for John Lewis & didn’t realise they usually get discounted. I thought this year’s had quite a few duplicates.
i signed up for the Bridal Beauty box alerts & have had another email today saying still in stock & offering free postage. I’d be more tempted if I knew what was in it. Anybody know?

By Terry arrived today. Looking forward to opening it but the box quality is nowhere near the JL level and much smaller. I miss the chunkiness of a multi brand.

I am going to have to do a beauty spend freeze next year to run down my stash - and justify buying more calenders next year!

Yep disappointing discounts for black Friday all I have got is a Sarah Chapman tinted SPF as I love it but can't normally buy it. My calender haul is modest only the Zara make up one from TK max and Nuxe. Will wait to see what December brings...

Very disappointing Black Friday discounts. Looks like retailers held their nerve and decided not to discount, so those holding out for a good deal eventually gave up: Sephora and Liberty both now out of stock. CB still there though; they definitely missed the mark this year.

This thread is no good for my purse 🤣 just ordered the bridal beauty mystery box. Hopefully there will be some stocking fillers in there! I am keeping the CT gift for myself though 🤣

I actually have a CT mini kit in my Space NK basket waiting to be checked out so for £15 pounds more I will take a punt on the mystery box.

I didn’t go for any of the advents in the end. Wasn’t tempted enough by Liberty or Harvey Nichols. I would love the Vogue one but there is something about getting a deal that appeals to me so I will continue to wait and see if it gets reduced.

The Black Friday deals were very disappointing. Kind of glad there weren’t any amazing tempting discounts as I know I would probably have bought another advent I don’t need. Would also have kicked myself if the JL calendar had a huge discount as I bought on the day it was released.
I was looking out for a friend who had held out for a bargain. She had narrowed it down to Sephora, CB and Harvey Nicks. After Sephora sold out yesterday, she decided to go for the Harvey Nicks calendar with the 15% discount. I think she made the right choice there choosing that over the CB calendar.
