@pinkchampagne1 I think retailers must have managed stock levels a lot better this year. By this time last year we were definitely seeing big discounts, buts lots more have sold out earlier this year.

@Fairyliz I placed the order as soon as I saw their email! That's definitely me done for this year and definitely no AC.
Recent mystery box from Bridal Beauty Co is still in its sealed delivery box and my family have been instructed to turn it into a lucky dip advent for me. No idea what's in it, but it probably has the Jurlique 2022 AC in there too. I think today's box will go in my lucky dip too.

I finally have an advent calendar - after starting 5 threads about them. I don't count the Ciate £19 one - opened early as knew would only like 20% of the drawers and mostly given away to grateful recipients.

I went for By Terry at LF price of £137 - LF threw in a Kate Somerville Goat Milk Mini (c£10), which I'll use, and I get £7 worth of points. I'm interested in trying more of By Terry and normally too expensive to just dabble.

I do expect calendar price to go down further. Last year it was discounted by 50% but not till Dec 9th and, in 2021, it was discounted by 50% on November 30th. If I'd already had one to open, I'd have waited. I will now be joining the odds and sods opening thread 😀

I’ve opened both ciate and LiB for Nadvent and really enjoyed them.

I have a refilled one for December but I’m open to picking up another.

I’d really like a pamper style AC - bubble bath, candles, pillow spray, lotions etc for hibernation throughout January.

ooooo not sure whether to go for LiB or hold out for CB / Liberty

Looks like the Debenhams AC has sold out now. The Perfume Shop one has too, after the reduction earlier in the week.

@PomsRun just tested the code myself it does say it was applied but no box showing you are right. I am hoping they just send you the box . I seem to remember last year they had a similar offer and there was a bit of confusion on the box then as well although can’t remember what the issue was.
Either way I am glad you got your advent. I have it and think it is really good with really good size products the value is definitely there
As advent alternatives Next has just released some more beauty boxes which look quite good especially if you were looking to fill your own advent or as stocking fillers
The retailers seem to have gone crazy on beauty boxes this year maybe they are going for a different marketing strategy as advents are quite spendy with 25 products . I think they have reduced numbers of advents and are investing more in beauty boxes with lower spend/lower products and can be produced all year.

oh my, I have just bought the bridal beauty box at £100, but I do not have any other items - except the 2 mystery boxes I bought, which are presents for others.

Not an advent calendar but Perfume Society are doing discounts on their discovery boxes. They make lovely gifts - very nicely presented.

Wondering how many advents CB are currently bashing about to sell as damaged

@SmellNice thanks for those codes, I may get a few as gifts. I bought one for myself the other week thanks to a recommendation on the last AC Thread and have really liked it. Sadly my favourite perfume from the box (so far, I've not tried them all yet) is hideously expensive - typical!

Already have clarins 24 plus it's 3 GWP's ( me ) Glossybox ( DD18) and went for the Ok beauty bundle with 3 boxes ( Christmas , Hannah Martin and Lisa snowdon )
Have opened Hannah Martin so far( it's fab )
Will prob make up a Jadvent from the bridal beauty box plus dip into Lisa snowdon (!) . Does anyone know how many items are in the BBB ?

And forgot to say... I am very much open to buying more if the offers are good , despite this OTT haul !
