Another one who succumbed to a last minute Next calendar! There must be enough of us this year to have a dedicated Next calendar thread.

I’m curious how many people bought Look Fantastic this year, it’s usually a big one and it certainly sold out but I recall very little talk about it this year.

I have the LookFantastic (as well as Next and M and S).

I got it in September I think so I've forgotten what's in it but I love the surprise element!

I see Fenwicks appears to be back to full price and showing as in stock again 🤔

I wonder when they will discount it? I can’t imagine anyone wanting to pay full price now?

I got LF for £46.25 last year on BF, so was foolishly waiting to see if a similarly wonderful reduction might occur - it did not😂

I suspect they massively overstocked last year and reduced amounts accordingly for 2023.

I am not recommending anyone get this as Birchbox has been a bit of a nuisance this year ( offered a free box but then closed the website for a few days so it was impossible to cancel the subscription, finally managed to cancel via the USA site instead ) . Anyhow today after never mentioning it before they send an email offering the advent at 50% off for 27 (?) products . Then only show the content for 15 if you count the back to front picture . Box looks lovely mind 🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually just seen if I go direct to the website you can check the whole contents , rather than via the email link they sent me .

What’s the bet way to sell unwanted items? EBay or Vinted?

@Theraffarian now that's an interesting offer!
On their website it shows in stock full price for what appears to be the 2022 AC, which is a very good price to start with.
Too much of a risk for me to order.

@Chouxpastryishard personal preference really between Vinted and eBay. Vinted prices tend to be a little lower, but there is no fee as there is with eBay and the buyer chooses and pays for postage.

I think eBay still has greater reach. You can also turn offers off on eBay so that you don’t get lots of silly offers (as happened to me a lot on Vinted).

I've just put all our ACs out. The Degustabox is far more attractive than last year and has a snakes & ladders game on the reverse too.
Anthropologie is a beautiful box. Once the mini boxes Inside have been emptied and removed, it will be great for storing Christmas cards or small Christmas decorations.

The new Liberty design is gorgeous. I have an older one next to it (filled with Lindt for my children) and the new design is even more gorgeous. It's decorated on all the sides.

I emailed yesterday re bridal beauty box and had a reply within an hour.
Our parcels are with Royal Mail - they had 48 of our parcels stuck at the depot.
They were hoping Royal Mail would get them moving through the system today
However, no change on my tracking either but they are aware of the problem and already been on to Royal Mail for us

The Degusta box is MASSSSIVE!!!! DH and kids thought it was hilarious!

My Next AC is at Next waiting to be collected but I won't be over that way til Monday. I'm planning on opening it between Xmas and NY anyway.

I didn't expect these threads to get quite so much traction but it's been fun.

Im in exactly the same position. Ordered Thursday, supposed dispatched with RM 48 hours on Monday but no update since then.
Hope it’s worth the wait.

Mine is also with RM so hoping for it in next day or so.

im stalking Bonne Maman on Amazon - incredulous that they’ve not reduced it further than 14.99!!

I also started looking in detail at the Boots showstopper that’s randomly in stock in my local compared to the Next as both priced at £80. Do I need more or am I just buying for the sake of a bargain?

i decided against Lumene and also the 5 glossy boxes which have gone back up to £75 today!

have loved this thread and seeing what everyone’s accidentally and on purpose bought as so fun to ‘meet’ like minded folks.

Yes I did. Makes me feel a bit better somehow that it went out of stock shortly afterward. I feel so guilty!
