This thread is fatal. I have just bought L'Occitane and Lumene. This is the equivalent of having a gambling addiction. I just can't stop myself. I love LO products and have never tried Lumene. I have literally got enough to start a shop. It's sick.

Did you get L'Occitane from All Beauty as well? If so, you were lucky, it went out of stock this morning - it must have popped back in stock briefly 👏

Do I want Lumene?

I’d like to try their products but I’m put off by the sizes.

I found myself getting irritated with the number of travel size items I had from last advent.

I love the Lumene pressed serum but I’ve got too many now to use up.

@MidnightMeltdown I’m on the no spend thread with the caveat that I’m starting on 1st Jan just in case there were any good BF/December deals.

I’ve got Liberty for December, I had Clarins for November as I’m gifting some of it, and I also had Fenwick plus the GWP. I bought those to open straight away though. DH & I have the Flannels crackers for Christmas Day, and I’ve got the big Flannels cracker from adult DS for when I get home from our Christmas trip. I feel quick sick now I’ve written it all down 😬

I've been reasonably good at sitting on my hands and haven't actually succumbed to a beauty advent calendar. But I did buy the October Liberty GWP, the Boots Heroes Beauty Box (some of which I'm giving to the DDs) and yesterday the Sarah Jossel LiB edit. So actually have enough to fill an Advent calendar if I wanted to! I'm going to concentrate on using it all up so I'll be ready to rock next year.

Do Diptyque or Jo Malone ever reduce? They're the only ones I'd be tempted by..

I also have Degustabox to open and a random one that DH has bought.

I'm wobbling on Lumene, I really liked the serum in last year's JL calendar but I already have Next and LF so definitely don't need anything else! Wish I'd looked at the thread earlier as I'd definitely have gone for L'Occitane and liked it more............must sit on hands

I've been disciplined this year. I have the Boots premium and the Harrods Fragrance for the 12 days after.

Plus only the Lakrids liquorice one.

Similar except I have socks, Ciate and M and S.

My favourite openings weirdly are weekdays as I'm up before every one else so I take my cuppa and sit by the tree with the lights twinkling and open it in peace and quiet. Then have to rummage about for my specs when I remember I can't read a bloody thing in that light

I'm going to start my opening on Saturday as it's DHs birthday on the 1st so a designated No Christmas Day.

We are definitely reaching the end of calendar buying season now.

Not S&B but, as we are extending to jams and jigsaws, Fortnums have reduced their feasting calendar from £200 to £150.

I might have considered it if I was calendarless- but I will be heading to the waifs and strays thread with my By Terry on Friday (and the No Buy Thread for the next 10 months 😂).

I've just noticed the Escentual have got L'occitane for £58.20 if you still want it

And I know that you're not allowed to sell advent calendars in Vinted but there's a l'occitane just been listed for £45.

All my favourites are gone. Oh well, glad I resisted, and will definitely treat myself to a luxury one next year.

Thanks so much! I’ve just bought the Lumene.
I’ve also bought the Cohorted 12 days of Christmas which briefly came back in stock earlier this week.
What I really wanted was SpaceNK so I think I’ll save up for it full price next year instead of waiting for a never to arrive reduction.

To be fair, it's a bargain. I don't think that we can really be held responsible when Allbeauty seduce us with their price cutting

I might commit to a no buy from 1st December (now that everything has sold out 😂). I might need a concealer at some point, but aside from that, I really can't imagine that I will need anything for a very long time.

I really hope that people haven't bought me beauty products for Christmas...

They are small sizes, but I don't mind for £50ish as I want to try the brand. I wouldn't pay the original £90+ for it

I’m loving hearing about some people’s massive hauls!! I also wanted Space NK & was so sure it would be reduced that I waited. I’ve got a running one, a bridal beauty box & the Sarah Jossell edit off Tik Tok. Also eyeing up the jams one and possibly the 5 glossy boxes. I’m going to get the few things I really want (A Bader cream and a toner) from Vinted.

Ive actually been made to think about what I really want / need which is good. Also was shocked about the many old AC boxes I have stashed in the cupboard. Haven’t tried to sell any but maybe I should.
