Or will you start opening in November?

Either way, it's not long now......time to make your choice (s).

@LaBrujaPiruja have you tried this number? Call our Customer Service Team on 0121 275 0500. Our lines are open Mon-Fri 08:00am-18:30pm, Sat 08:00am-16:00pm, Sun 09:00am-15:00pm

Yes, last night and twice today. Not helpful at all.

ACAC2023 · 09/11/2023 13:22

This number is listed for Conde Naste

Alternatively, you can call our customer support team on +44(0)1858 438 815 and they can confirm your Customer Account Number.

MidnightMeltdown · 09/11/2023 13:27

It's the responsibility of the retailer to chase the courier. They need to ensure that the item reaches you.

MidnightMeltdown · 09/11/2023 13:28

CaveMum · 09/11/2023 12:52

@PomRuns I have a 10% discount code for Vogue that should in theory work for the advent calendar if you want to PM me.

It says on the website that the calendar is excluded from all discounts

QueefofSheena · 09/11/2023 13:28

I did have NAP envy, but having watched the unboxing I'm glad I didn't go for it.

Thanks, called them this morning and they told me to contact DPD. While DPD wants me to contact Conde Nast. Hence the reason I opened a claim via PayPal. I have contacted everybody but they do not help. Not even take any responsibility! Wasted hours and hours and now I just want my money back

ACAC2023 · 09/11/2023 13:31

That’s so sad😕. I hope you get the Callander and a refund for all the inconvenience @LaBrujaPiruja

I did have NAP envy, but having watched the unboxing I'm glad I didn't go for it.

I feel like this about Vogue, just watched the RLV unboxing and although it is lovely it's not for me. Too many day creams/eye creams/hair products. The Discotheque candle, bedsocks and bracelet look really lovely though so if someone wanted even just a few of the other products it's well worth it. Looking forward to the unboxing thread and hearing what you all think.

Will watch a NAP unboxing when I get a chance. I don't think I was particularly tempted though.

The good thing about watching all these unboxings is all the contents have merged into one, so apart from a few items I can't remember what's in my F&M!

MidnightMeltdown · 09/11/2023 13:36

I like the Aspinal product in Vogue too

MidnightMeltdown · 09/11/2023 13:38

I watched the NAP unboxing but I wasn't tempted by that at all

Branster · 09/11/2023 13:43

Thank you very much @MidnightMeltdown That looks like just the thing when I looked last night.

@SoloCat, if it is general sagging you are trying to prevent (not sure about fixing existing issues), I recommend Foreo Bear. There is a Bear 2 out launched recently. I have the previous (original) version and I'm very happy with it. Very easy and quick to use with lots of tutorials available on YouTube if you want to investigate. I'm in two minds about getting Bear 2 but I'm unclear on what more does it do compared to the version I already have. Not cheap but they have sales on Foreo website for, say, 20% at Christmas, mothers Day etc.

The mask Foreo gizmo, wouldn't necessarily do anything for sagging. It supposedly improves masks applications, so that it makes masks more 'active' (that's how I understand it). It may well do that. I was never tempted due to lack of patience. I use masks all the time but I get on with other jobs while I wait the 20min or so. I know I should rest and relax on the bed but I don't have the patience for this.

@LaBrujaPiruja I really, really want this nightmare to be solved for you. Such a headache and I can't believe Vogue are not helping straightaway. I hope the issue will be solved in that your AC turns up today or tomorrow or, at least, get a fast refund.

CaveMum · 09/11/2023 13:50

@MidnightMeltdown sadly you’re right, I just tried adding it to a basket and it said not valid. Sorry @PomRuns !

Branster · 09/11/2023 13:52

TopCashBack might still have cashback for Vogue shop?

It was a kind offer.

still £14 a box I’d pretty good.
😊

SoloCat · 09/11/2023 13:57

Thanks @Branster I’ll have a good read. I have my Nuface so may have to try and use that as it looks similar. The Foreo may be better though…got to start a regime to get in the habit. It’s not bad sagging, just the start of losing firmness around cheeks/jawline. The problem is I’ve always looked young for my age, which is great, but it means I’m starting to see aging now and it’s all new to me…and bloody depressing. 😁😂

Branster · 09/11/2023 14:02

I hear you @SoloCat
NuFace is similar to Bear but it takes longer to use per use. Try and utilise it regularly and see if there's any change.
To me, the visible results with Bear are that it 're-arranges' the face in a way. You know when you wake up sometime and it takes a while for everything to look like you? You may not be at that stage yet, but it's a thing I noticed. So everything looks fresh, contour and the face in general. Nobody else would possibly notice but I do. You do need to use it regularly for long lasting results.
I think it's meant to help with jawline as well but I have no idea if it does or not. Maybe preventatively?

OnlyCorrect · 09/11/2023 14:17

I'm another who had more visible results with Foreo Bear over NuFace. Mainly to lift jawline, cheekbones and left eyebrow back to where they used to be. IF you actually use it rather than sling it in a drawer, mind! I bought a cheap big tub of ultrasound jelly off amazon to use with it rather than their serum.

Thanks so much for your advice…I’m off work next week, so will dig out and give it a go. If the Foreo is a shorter time to use it may work better for me. Need to get a routine going. 😊

AngelikaTroughton · 09/11/2023 15:24

@LaBrujaPiruja What a nightmare. You've done the right thing opening a case with Paypal but ultimately this is Vogue's responsibility. Couriers ... grrrr

Housewife2010 · 09/11/2023 15:24

How do you fit a Nuface into your routine? If I was using it at night, would I cleanse, apply the special serum & use the Nuface, then rinse it off before applying my serums etc? Thanks

Yes, that's what I did. I also had to wipe the NuFace regularly as the gel would build up on the orbs, making it feel a little grubby to use.

The gel isn't very pleasant, really, so I tried it with serums but it was quite stingy and a little painful so the gel is best.

Peridot1 · 09/11/2023 16:23

@FinallyFinalGirl - can you feel the NuFace doing anything? I bought one a couple of years ago and never got around to using it and tried a while ago and it didn’t seem to do anything. Not sure if it’s dead or that’s how it’s meant to be!

Not really, Peridot, to be honest. Eventually I gave up on it as it was annoying to use and I couldn't see much if any difference.

The only thing I visibly noticed tightening my face was the My Perfect Facial stuff. I HATED My Perfect Eyes - couldn't get the hang of it at all - but the facial is effective if you do it often enough.

I fell for so many gadgets but most of them were useless. I even bought one of those huge body vibrator things you used to see in the gyms - it was rubbish.

They really did see me coming!

FinallyFinalGirl · 09/11/2023 17:30

@SoloCat just had a look at my LED handheld device - it's a Quasar. I have the red LED one and out of all the gadgets I've tried, it's by far the best.

Just found out my Flannels Men's Cracker order has been cancelled. Was meant to be for DH. Not very impressed with their advent calendar this year. It's just ok I think.

Beauty Advent Calendars 2023 Part D- waiting till December?
laclochette · 09/11/2023 18:19

There's a Liberty Loyalty offer at the moment which means a £10 voucher for every £50 spent. So you'd get £50 of vouchers if you buy the Advent calendar, an excellent offer assuming you spend money there the rest of the year ... But I'm still wondering if they'll manage to sell out before December! Does anyone know if that's happened before and if they've discounted it come December? (I live in hope)
