Thank you. One purchase for me too - easy pleated trousers.

Ordered a couple of dresses (the firth check and the block print poplin) to try on. I was really tempted by the tie collar dress, but I have quite a few dark dresses, so am going to give it a miss, unless anyone can persuade me otherwise? I know it's been mentioned upthread, but can't remember if it was positive or not ...

... and the diamond stripe cotton trousers, @agnesmartin what is the sizing like in these please? I've ordered a medium (am a substantial 14 irl)

@No1Mousie I'd say I'm a substantial 16 and I have the L so you should be fine. The legs are very baggy and the waist less so. The waist band was a little snug over the hips when I first got them, and I don't have wide hips. Nothing a wee shimmy didn't fix.

The embroidery does unravel (esp when there are biscuit making cats in the house) and they do give me a baggy crotch but I still love them for snuggling up in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mousie, I have the diamond stripe cotton trousers and consider them generous - maybe very generous. XL is loose on me and I'm an 18.

Thought at first I wouldn't want much because we've seen all of this before. But actually there were quite a few things I ordered to try:

@Firesideknitting Can you give me some advice on the sizing of the Birkenstock suede slippers please?
I was going to buy a pair for my daughter but I note they are described as narrow, however some reviews suggest they fit a wider foot as well. My daughter has quite a wide foot and I won’t be seeing her before the sale ends so I’d like to be fairly sure they are going to fit.

I've ordered the copper shorts in a larger size after getting caught out in the summer finding out they come up a lot smaller than the bitter chocolate and navy ones in the same style.

Then the rust/slate striped top that Tosh wore on Shetland recently - I'd been tempted previously but couldn't quite make up my mind, but then liked it on her, so got it to try.

Then I think just an easy tee as all of the other bits I'd added were sold out before I made it to the checkout! I'll keep my eye open for returns. I was after the pique top in slate in a M but missed it.

Also hoping the Christmas sale will have more of the items I have my eye on. I agree with @Snowyowl78 it's a lot like the summer sale. Mind you I benefit from that as those copper shorts were obviously returns as the larger size had sold out previously. Fingers crossed they fit as I wore those linen shorts a lot this summer.

Does anyone have, or tried, the Sturlini sandals? The reviews are positive but there are some comments about the leather marking very easily so would like to know how they’re likely to wear.

I’ve got fairly narrow foot, but my husband is the opposite and they fit both I’m a 5.5 and buy a 39

I've ordered a couple of Linen dresses to try on - no high hopes but they've been niggling.

I have an earlier version of Sturlini sandals. Haven't noticed them marking that easily but haven't really tested/worn much. They are butter-soft leather so I've kept them away from situations where might be easily scratched. One for town walking rather than beach/country I think.

I am at work, but have snuck in some ordering:

Trapeze (pond-like) dress, in a smaller size than before
Clogs
Poppies crepe as it is so cheap and missed out on trying it last sale

Debated ordering the landscape but it’s still pricy and was very heavy. I also haven’t got over the terrible stitching on the one I tried.

If my order comes quickly and I don’t keep it all and it’s still available, I might order later in the week.

Am annoyed that I missed out on the wave tank in brown😿

@Saurus72 - thank you! they caught us all on the hop didn't they! I have ordered a few things to try which I missed last time due to sales fatigue - clogs, green Alix, a denim skirt (but I actually think it's not the one I had my eye on) a denim drawstring dress

I they have well and truly blocked the super sleuth back door this time!

These are all things that I’d had my eye on previously but was too slow to buy!

I’m still eyeing up the slubby knit jumper with pockets…

I’ve just ordered the Sturlini Adrie sandals and the Poppies crepe dress. I’m really trying to stick to my wish list and a decent pair of summer sandals is on it, so feel ok about that. The dress is a wildcard, I have a feeling the colours won’t work but worth a try.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout - Birkenstock narrow is basically their women's sizing. If you buy their regular width, then you need to go down one size, if it's narrow then go for your usual size

Thanks @faustina I've got the Birkenstock clogs but I wasn’t quite sure whether it was the same for the slippers. Bit academic now as I had a busy morning and the slippers sold out in a 39 before I had chance to buy them 🙄.

Welcome @Lagirl20 - sadly can't advise on the jumpsuit though.

@Saurus72 I tried those Sturlini sandals over the summer - I was very sad to return them, they are super soft leather and beautiful....but they rubbed/irritated my foot on the inside of the ankle strap and I know I couldn't tolerate it. I ordered the reddish colour and really wanted to keep them. I hope they are keepers for you. They probably would mark, but it's that kind of leather and I don't think it would be in a bad way if that makes sense. Super soft leather always does mark I think.
