I've got an industry event and dress code is 'cocktail'

Absolutely! Just heels, no tights. It’s such a fabulous dress. Beautiful choice OP.

Can I just say, this thread is a breath of fresh air. Not a Nancy Mac jumpsuit in sight! Straight in there with a fabulous, classy, elegant and totally appropriate - but not apologetically ‘safe’ - dress choice. Love it.
