How much do you expect to pay for a cut and colour?

I have medium, not quite shoulder length hair and just paid £220 for highlights and cut. Excellent quality work, she did a really good job understanding what I wanted when I didn't really know myself but fuck me, that feels expensive no? I'm not in London but not in the north either. I have also really struggled to find a good hairdresser, this is the 4th salon in the area i've tried. They all seem expensive and with cost of living increases maybe this is normal? Cripes.

£70 for half head highlights on shoulder length hair, toner, cut and finish. Market town in the north, high street stylish salon. It was £60 until recently.

£170 /£180 - full head highlights/mix of balayage, root smudge, toner, cut and blow dry. East of England.

£220 seems quite expensive.

£85. If it was £220 I’d be going colour free! For a cut and blow dry it’s £28!

But it’s pretty close to what yours would cost if you added Olaplex, as OP did.
