I'm wearing leggings far too often and jeans make me feel so hot, looking for a comfortable everyday alternative!

I wear Meek Boutique Jean Joggers

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 13/09/2023 02:01

Place marking !

MaybeSeven · 13/09/2023 02:25

I usually wear bamboo joggers, or wide leg chino style

CarbsAreNotMyFriend · 13/09/2023 06:02

Try Tesco! I have 2 pairs of cuffed ankle grazers in khaki and black. The comfiest, stretchiest, most easy to wash trousers ever. I can't find a link online - they are similar to these but without the cargo pockets, and they go right down to the ankle (and I'm fall).

Good grief, £155 for trousers that look like something you could pick up in Primark. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Primark by the way, but £155?!

I suspect you have money to burn. 🙄

Are you always so rude? All you need say is they look nice but out of my budget

tshirthunter · 13/09/2023 15:25

Just looked at the M & S ones and they are now trending 😂

Frosty1000 · 13/09/2023 15:52

Magic trousers are very comfy for just day to day as are these stretch trousers ....

I'm only 5'2" and can't be doing with wide leg or flapping trousers at all.

i've got a couple of pairs of harem pants from Forgotten Tribes. So comfortable and always get comments when I wear them:

Aside from the ethics let not pretend primark is anything other than cheap fast fashion that is very poor quality. Always cheap nasty fabric.

I’d rather have money to burn than be needlessly rude.

I have a couple of pairs of the Abercrombie Sloane Tailored Pants and they’re amazing, such a good inclusive size range (waist and heights).

I'm a fan of coloured chinos (like a bit of colour, me) and I am currently mainly wearing Boden ones (though I'm thinking they might need refreshing).

ArielManto43 · 13/09/2023 23:24

Boden Hareem Jersey Joggers,
Khaki Linen mix wide leg trousers from Next,
Lucy & Yak Alexa,
and Masai Poppy Capri.
(But to be honest, still jeans and leggings most of the time).

My eyebrows went quite far up…

I’ve got 4 pairs of joggers from Primark to wear around the house; 2 for winter and 2 for warmer weather. They are absolutely ok, nothing exciting but comfy. They lasted the whole year already and I hope to get 1-2 years more from them.
They’re a lot of cheap synthetic at Primark but it’s fair for other places as well. I went to Monsoon a few days ago - nasty synthetic, just more expensive.

AgingDisgracefullyHere · 14/09/2023 08:44

Primark isn't worse than many other, more expensive, places. I have some things that have lasted years. And plenty of expensive brands come from sweatshops.

I wish I could afford only clothes made to a high standard in the UK by workers paid a good living wage, but I don't know if that even exists.

These look great - what's the sizing like, please?

notlucreziaborgia · 14/09/2023 09:29

OP asked what trousers were wearing that aren’t jeans or leggings. Well, those are what I’m wearing 🤷🏻‍♀️

If others don’t like them/would rather go to Primark that’s fine. I didn’t say they had to, or that they shouldn’t. I like them, can afford them, and have no problem, moral or otherwise, buying them. Tbf they weren’t even the most expensive of pair I referenced, but I suppose they’ve garnered attention because they’re the ones I linked to.
