I remember reading that many churches in Sweden have a bridal crown, and they then lend it to brides getting married in the church. Princess Margareta, one of Carl Custav’s sisters went for this option, despite obviously having any number of family tiaras to choose from.

(I also remember that two of his sisters wore the same wedding dress - not their mother’s but just a dress worn by one sister to her wedding, and which a later-married sister also presumably liked)

Queen Nasli what a sad life , she should have known there'd be no escape for her or her daughter. There still isn't if what I read about a recent one hiding out in London with guards trying to get a divorce is true.

Do you mean Haya of Jordan? She got her divorce and custody of her children but I can't imagine she'll feel safe until her ex-husband dies.

That's my thought. She's bought a place in Wales an ex hotel to convert. Imagine your father being the king of Jordan, enjoying a very westernised upbringing and finding out that your husband had his own daughters disappeared.

I went down a rabbit hole yesterday when I read the link @BambiBambi44 had posted about Queen Nazli of Egypt. That is the sad case referred to.

Finally caught up after being out of Royal watching for a bit.

I have to say that I loved Max's Rotterdam outfit! But she needs to step away from the green dresses, they do nothing for her.

Bride wearing mothers dress and frankly, rocking it, was a highlight!

Did you see that Meghan was at Beyonce concert with harry, dora and her acting buddy whose name I always forget. They appear to have gone with co-ordinating silver outfits.

He doesn’t look happy in someone else’s jacket and a sharny face like that would have not made for the best of atmospheres.

I don't think we can judge based on one still photo! There was some video footage where he was dancing around and looked to be enjoying himself. I have a skirt like the one Meghan is wearing and was wondering what to wear with it. Think I'll look out for a sleeveless white top now!
