I've never had a blazer. (Since school anyway)
I've tried them on from time to time and they're just not me.

Dungarees. I am not a toddler, so why would I want to wear dungarees?
Maxi dress. I am not a campsite, so why would I want to wear a tent?
Thong. My buttocks are not teeth, so why would I want to wear dental floss?

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 12/08/2023 22:34

I’ve worn most things mentioned on this thread tbh, but never leggings as actual clothes (other than running), or stilettos.

Suckingalemon · 12/08/2023 22:36

A Gillette or bodywarmer. I don't need any help looking top heavy

RuthW · 12/08/2023 23:01

Boob tubes

I don't see the point of gilets and bodywarmers. If it is cold enough to require one I need sleeves as well, so I would wear a jacket instead

StarlightLady · 12/08/2023 23:03

Never owned dungarees.

Only once ever worn a so called “nude” bra. It made my tits look like cardboard!

itsmeafterall · 12/08/2023 23:33

Cold shoulder top.

Weird pointless unflattering things.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 12/08/2023 23:35

Trouser suit.
Very high heels.
Clogs.

echt · 13/08/2023 00:12

Cold shoulder top - not because it would look terrible on me, they look terrible on everyone
Croc-style shoes except for gardening
Tops without straps - they are so elasticated as they hang on for dear life they turn breasts all kinds of weird shapes
Boob tubes

Gowlett · 13/08/2023 00:16

I have a sexy friend who rocks cold shoulder tops & various cut-out-bits outfits. I’d look like the dog ate my jumper… Only fully formed tops for me!

Helendegenerate · 13/08/2023 00:23

Any top with Breton stripes.

Seddon · 13/08/2023 00:39

Plenty of things listed here don't suit me but I've tried them at least once before I realised!

But I instinctively knew that jumpsuits and dungarees would look awful on me because they do on almost everyone else so those are the 2 things I've absolutely never worn.

teenysaladandsniffofarose · 13/08/2023 07:41

Those jersey dungarees/jumpsuit that are baggy on the crotch and make it look like you need a nappy change.

Lig · 13/08/2023 07:53

Ballet flats
Jeggings
Puff sleeve anything
Cowboy boots
Dark trainers
A short body con dress

narniabusiness · 13/08/2023 08:05

Good on you and your Kate Slater leopard print coat! @70isaLimitNotaTarget
I’m now pondering whether I could get one and enjoy its loveliness anyway (and just make sure reality doesn’t shatter the illusion by staying away from mirrors and photos).

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 13/08/2023 08:16

I do own ( and wear) an ex - cold shoulder top. It was such lovely fabric (printed silk) that I couldn’t resist, so I bought it and sewed the gap in the seam together ….looks fine, isn’t draughty

AllGrownUpp · 13/08/2023 08:22

I thought of another one, harem pants, I’ve never seen anyone look good in a pair.

I wear one when I am already wearing so many layers that if I added another I wouldn’t be able to move my arms.

tobee · 13/08/2023 21:54

Floral dress and white trainers (started a thread on that on here recently)

Ballet flats. Except for when I was doing actual ballet which I did for a strangely long amount of time even though I wasn't very good

JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon · 19/08/2023 09:52

Some of you sound very unadventurous.

The only things I can think of that are an absolute no never ever are crocs and cold shoulder tops.

Pretty much everything else I have tried at least once!

I mean now a boob tube would be a recipe for a wardrobe malfunction but in my early 20s I bloody rocked them. I wouldn't wear dungarees now but had a pair as a teenager (didn't wear them much, they were a mistake then too). I wore lots of things when I was younger and thinner and more adventurous that I wouldn't wear again, leather trousers, towering stilettos, hot pants, micro minis, ruffles, neon, clogs, polo necks, crop tops, etc.
