Another How Old Do I Look?

Jumping on this bandwagon because I’ve been considering botox for my forehead. I feel like the last 5 years have added about 15 years to my face - thanks kids!

Genuinely don’t mind if you say 20 or 80, just need some perspective before I start really looking into it.

30-35. Very pretty.

StarPotential · 10/08/2023 09:01

I’d say early 30s but you have a young face. You don’t have frown lines so I wouldn’t bother with Botox.

Pandorapitstop · 10/08/2023 09:02

The budgie looks about two

rainbowstardrops · 10/08/2023 09:03

Love your budgie and cute kitty! <misses the point>

drunkpeacock · 10/08/2023 09:05

I'd say around 34

ilikeeggs · 10/08/2023 09:06

31?

icelollycraving · 10/08/2023 09:08

38

Just noticed your username now. You’re hardly a “wrinkly old cow” Hmm What a way to speak about getting older…

AskAgathaIfSheWantsACupOfTea · 10/08/2023 09:12

My gut feeling is 32.

I don’t think you need Botox at all - you look really normal to me, like 99% of other women/mums around our age out there

VeridicalVagabond · 10/08/2023 09:13

Hmm. I'm 32 and I'd say you look like you'd slot into my peer group, somewhere between 28 and 35?

I know what you mean about forehead wrinkles but I promise they're not as obvious to everyone else as they are to you. I was agonising about mine the other day and my husband reminded me that I'm looking at them from two inches away under the harsh bathroom lights, out in the real world they're not really visible!

I'm not anti-botox but I really don't think you need it, you have lovely skin.

SophieTheWonderCat · 10/08/2023 09:13

31 and no need for Botox!

TheChosenTwo · 10/08/2023 09:15

34, I can’t see any need for Botox!

Not a visible line on your face so not sure why you see the need for Botox.
What do you think your face should look like?

Agree.
Your face is totally free of expression lines, why botox it ? I think botox can make people look older rather than more youthful.

Not playing the guessing game, but can't see any forehead wrinkles. 😊

Yes, that's really misogynistic and ageist. Is that how you view older women? I'm sure it isn't.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/08/2023 09:22

Mid 30s tops. I remember seeing lines for the first time on my forehead in 1999. I was 28. I’ve recently noticed how slack my eyelid skin has become. We all get older. And the nice thing is that most of us get wiser. Stop worrying about your face op. Twenty years from now, you’ll realise how lovely you looked today.

You look like you've already had botox on your forehead.

Cannotthinkofanametoday · 10/08/2023 09:53

Calling yourself WrinklyOldCow is really insulting to those of us who are older (late 50s here) and have very little control over the wrinkle genes how ever much expensive cream we put on our faces. Do you see an older person with wrinkles as an old cow then? I have friends in their 80s who are beautiful with their life lines, and friends who would have loved to have lived long enough to develop wrinkles.

These threads are such a waste of time.

Nice people knock 5-10 years off.
Nasty people add 5-10 years on
Everyone is shit at estimating age anyway.

BigSkies2022 · 10/08/2023 09:59

30-ish. I can't see lines on your forehead, and I think you have a lovely face and a youthful style.

If you did want to drop some money on your appearance, I would suggest spending a bit on smoothing out your teeth before going for Botox. This is a longer lasting change that transforms the appearance, and in the UK, we don't spend enough on good dentistry.

And the photos. Just for fun, I played about with my camera this morning. I reckon there's about 10 years or more between the way I look in each photo. Nothing special, just the way the light hit me on different angles. I don't know which one is the more realistic though. Am I an aged hag? Or am I doing OK? Is my nose really that that big? Or is it smaller than I thought?

I agree.

From a wrinkly old cow (but at least I don't use sexist ageist slurs).
