I'm just watching And Just Like That and the actresses look lovely but they look in their 50's. So I think it's more you can look good if you dress nice and look after yourself but not many people look that much younger. You can also tell Jennifer Anniston is older even though she looks lovely.

I don't think @Grannyknowsbest has filtered the photos. I just think they are lo resolution images. Probably taken with an older phone.

I also think people should maybe back off @Grannyknowsbest She May well just be an older woman who doesn't realise not to hijack posts and who genuinely thinks she looks younger than she does. That's deluded but not a crime

The granny poster had nice skin, but the hair, glasses & top were quite old fashioned. So overall don't look younger than their age.

We dress a lot different to that in our 50's (I'm just 50). I'm not mutton dressed as lamb but like fashionable clothes and go to festivals.

That's sounds tatty about festivals. I meant to say there are a lot of people doing this in their 50's but aren't claiming they look younger but just enjoying themselves.

How do you know other photos are filtered? I cannot say that with confidence.

It’s maybe not a filter as such, but the image has been “softened”, or had “noise reduction”, the skin texture has been reduced, you can see it more clearly on the skin area of her neck and chest, where softening/reducing definition/noise reduction has blurred out the natural texture. It’s not an old phone or just blurry, the photo has been enhanced. Very easily done on most phones.

anyone who has done it, which is a lot of people. Can see it immediately. It’s incredibly obvious.

I was told I posted a filtered photo (not on here) and it wasn't I just took it and posted it. No beauty mode or whatever, IG filters, FB filters
I wouldn't mind but if I've ever filtered something I've said!

It's the lack of skin texture that shows you.

@Bonfire23 has beautiful skin here but you can see normal texture.

I work with photos for my job (not a photographer) and we are so used to filtering / photoshop / tweaks that we aren't used to just seeing normal pictures

You can clearly see skin texture inc your pores. The difference is clear.
