Autumn wishlist.....

I know some will think it's too early....but I live for autumn so this unseasonal weather brings me great joy.

I've just ordered some oxblood chelsea boots from vinted (new in box) for a steal.

Got my eye on lots in Arket and Toast already but not sure if I dare as am due a baby in October and no idea how much this pregnancy will impact my dress size... but equally desperate to have some non- maternity clothes to look forward to!

Anyone got any good wishlist ideas already?

I am revamping my work wardrobe a bit this year to go back to dresses as they suit me much more than trousers (pear shaped plus size with a big lower tummy).

So far I have resurrected an old navy cotton jumper dress from monsoon that has a slash neck. I have a couple of dresses from vinted and very bizarrely I picked up a cream sort of cord smart dress from Tesco of all places. It has a 70s vibe and I feel a bit odd in it, like it's too grown up for me (I am 48 with a semi senior corporate job). But teen dds say it's really good on me! I need to decide if I really do feel comfortable in it rather than constantly faffing or pulling my stomach in.

I would like:

Another smart casual dress for office days, plain, maybe in purple, possibly shirt dress.
Some suede long boots with a heel but not too much to wear with said dresses - I don't care if these are on trend, these are practical and smart for me.

I may look for a skirt as well. Navy, plain, that I can wear with jumpers. I did try on a nice totally non plain one in mango I might go back to.
A blazer to go over dresses for meetings. I think brown (I really suit brown, it's my best colour)
I'd quite like a turquoise cotton v or slash neck jumper but I will bet 1 million dollars that I can't find one.
2 new bags, one work, one non work. Tan.

Plus I'd like some nice, snuggly not cheap lounge wear. A zip up hoodie and some bottoms that I can wear on the sofa or to do some yoga in but but cannot be tempted to wear outside. NOT a set from a supermarket, something a bit nicer as a treat.

@iamthattree There are lots of blazers around this year. I might go more of a neutral colour as that goes with navy, purple, brown, green and black. Pretty versatile. &OtherStories has a few.

Turquoise in autumn is a bit of an ask. Although —— Sosander at M&S have one with a slash neck!

lounge wear is everywhere. Bags. Depends what you want to spend. Osprey are good value. Tan bags are pretty much universal. Just depends on your budget, style snd use.

Ohhh @TizerorFizz I ran to the jumper but its acrylic :( Every spring I think I should look out for one and every spring I forget. Last year I tried a men's one from M&S but I just can't wear them. I am too short waisted, plump and norky.

@iamthattree I didn’t look at the detail. I am a bit anti man made too, There’s a nearly turquoise merino one by M&S I noticed. Not slash neck but you can buy bigger to make it more relaxed - as I do!

This has just arrived courtesy of a discount code and my birthday money. It’s now the most beautiful item in my wardrobe and I’m in love. Tempted by the top too, but need to get on with listing my Vinted pile to justify it as I’ve spent so much this month already.
