This is how I want to dress this winter. More skirts and dresses rather than trousers as my waist is not the best and the trousers can look bulky unless you have a good waistline I think.

I love tweed and wool and flannel and autumn colours. Not black! Although brown is sometimes hard to find. Love brown leather for boots and bags. I really want to get away from jeans and chunky boots for a change.

I think I can knit some jumpers and cardigans. But I would love a big tweedy coat. I have a couple of really nice brown tweed hats from a shop in Edinburgh who made the hats for Peaky Blinders. But I need the right sort of coat to go with them. My long cosy puffy coat is cosy but totally wrong.

Any aficionados out there?

@highlandcoo Why oh why have you mentioned Lanx in Manchester? Never heard of them or noticed the shop and I've just looked on the site at their boots, oh boyyyyyyyyyyy how many pairs is too many...

Lanx bother me due to calf leather and the cruelty that goes into the production.

Shoes and boots from ten Points, they even do flat foot beds on some for people with orthopaedics. I have the ankle boot version of these shoes, they also do higher shaft versions.

Good evening Tribe ☺️. Weather really weird today. Started off wearing shorts, sandals and a t-shirt, have ended up looking out at a storm with a big cardi and slippers on. Candles lit again. (Can you guess which makes me happier?? 😁)

Hello everybody! Love this style of dress so joining in. Sorry if it’s already been mentioned, but I can recommend Olive for some nice Dark Academia style pieces. The only downside to this site is that they only go up to about a size 12/14. I’m a 10-12 (nearer to 12) and find it a bit hit or miss finding things to fit me, but I’ve not had a problem with coats or jumpers.
