You have to try this! ( Lisa Eldridge)

I've recently started using the new skin cleanser from Lisa Eldridge and it's absolutely amazing!
I'm 70 and it's only the last few years that I've been cleansing properly and using serums etc, at the insistence of my dd 😂
Well.. this cleanser has made my old neck look years younger and my face has a glow it didn't have before. I'm not a vain person, and don't expect miracles, but I'm gobsmacked by this 😊

Have you got a link?

Mercurial123 · 24/07/2023 08:07

This is a good review. The price is high, which puts me off purchasing.

Really? I mean like properly really? Does your face look younger?

Plugsockets1 · 24/07/2023 08:17

My gosh that is expensive!! But the review says the product makers claim it should last 200 applications. Have you found a 'blueberry' sized blob is really enough op?

Plugsockets1 · 24/07/2023 08:17

I've only used Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and they are brilliant

ApolloandDaphne · 24/07/2023 08:20

I'll need to have a look at that. I need some new cleanser.

Lottapianos · 24/07/2023 08:29

I have a lot of Lisa Eldridge make up and it's great, but the price of the cleanser has put me off so far

CultureAlienationBoredomandDespair · 24/07/2023 08:35

I’ve been using the cleanser and it really is great. I don’t use it exclusively due to the cost (but yes a blueberry sized squirt is enough) but it’s fantastic at removing makeup and leaves my skin feeling so soft I don’t feel
like I need moisturiser afterwards. I can’t say I look younger (I’m 37) but do find that I have a glow, especially if I’ve left it on for a bit or used it to give myself a massage. Sometimes I’ve put it on 1/2hr or so before bed and then just washed it off when I do my teeth.

Lethalinformation · 24/07/2023 08:37

I need to look younger, anything else just isn't good enough

Do you just use it at night then? I'm intrigued

I personally do, because I like to use it to remove makeup/ sunscreen/ general daily grime and in the morning I use a cheaper cream cleanser. You could use it morning and night though for double the benefits.

ApolloandDaphne · 24/07/2023 09:02

How do you take it off? Cloth? Cotton pads?

A cloth. You add some water to it first and it turns into more of a milk, then just wipe it off. I suppose you could use pads if you’d prefer but a flannel is much easier.

I love LE's make up but I'm not convinced about paying a high price for anything that's on your skin for a few seconds before being washed down the plug hole.

Yes really, I'm so impressed with it 😅

Yes it is expensive. My dd bought it for me!
Yes, a blueberry size does your whole face ( and neck) 😊

What an absolutely lovely lady she is, almost makes me want to buy it for that reason alone! Maybe I will splurge on a tube...

It sounds like you don't actually wash it off though? Can I ask what her foundations are like? I'm too old for the thick stuff ...

Lethalinformation · 24/07/2023 22:38

Sorry another question, is Selfridge's the only place you can go to test the foundation colours? There's so many different shades, would be an expensive mistake to pick the wrong one 😔

The foundation is great too (I wore it on my wedding day), you can only try it in Selfridges but you can get sample cards on her website or send pictures to her team and they’ll match you.

TattiePants · 24/07/2023 22:50

@Lethalinformation I’m 49 so hate heavy foundations and usually stick to a BB cream. It’s really light but buildable if you want more coverage. You can get sample cards of her foundation. Each card has four shades on it and there was enough product for 2 applications per shade.

I always use the Findation website for foundation matches and it was very accurate.

BigBundleOfFluff · 24/07/2023 22:55

I have her lipstick and foundation. I emailed the customer service team and got 4 samples sent out for the foundation. I think both the lipstick and foundation are great.
I love her videos - her voice is so soothing! But can't justify the price of cleanser,

Lethalinformation · 24/07/2023 23:08

Thank you very much everyone!

Sugarplumfury · 25/07/2023 00:12

Damn you OP. I’ve just been and ordered it. I got it from LEs website and there’s an offer of the cleanser and the cloths for £48 with free postage. My skin is dull, dry and definitely not glowing at any stage of cleansing or moisturising. I’ll report back. I’ve never tried any LE products but I loved her on that tv series about makeup over the centuries.
