Comfortable wedge sandals or espadrilles

Looking for recommendations for comfortable wedges, either sandals or espadrilles. I want a pair to complete an outfit for a wedding, though I would like to be able to wear them frequently afterwards.

I ordered some from Next but they were so uncomfortable around the ankle strap so they were sent back.
I have also tried some on in The White Company. The brand were Gaimo. Initially, they were comfortable but I could feel the strap across my foot digging in and rubbing, so I decided to leave it.

I’ve googled comfortable wedges and the fitflop Elouise wedge constantly comes up. Not sure if they are stylish enough. Has anyone got a pair and can recommend or any alternatives?

I've got these for a wedding and they're so comfy! Perfect heel height too imo.

What about Toni Pons? I have a couple of wedge pairs and very comfortable.

I just bought and wore these for a wedding. Comfy all evening.

The most comfortable wedge sandals I own are from Ugg I have 3 pairs. Unisa are also pretty good.

Dorothy Perkins have loads of wedge sandals at the moment at good prices, in lots of colours.

Sorry forgot to add they also do different width fittings if you are looking for a wider fit.

Geox do some nice wedges, I have soleil style v comfortable

I only wear vionic shoes now. I can wear them all day without a hint of pain.

They cost a bit more but honestly, it is so so so worth it. Lots of styles but example

Very comfortable as the straps are elastic, but my feet still feel secure in them. Lots of colour options too.

I second the office ones linked above. Super soft and comfortable. They have different colours and heal heights too. Although some of the others and leather not suede so probably not as soft.

I also think they look a little bit smarter for a wedding outfit

I have Carl Scarpa wedges that are v comfortable.
Also Reiker wedges - v comfortable. Both look good also

I find the fewer straps on shoes the better. I have the Kope wedges from Dune which are comfortable

I second Reiker, I have a pair that are 5 years old, I get them out every summer and always get compliments on them. I will never get rid of them, they are sooo comfy!

I struggle wearing sandals. Recently bought a pair of these. Was on my feet all day yesterday in them and they were amazing.

Somewhere I would have never thought about a few years ago but now one of my first options - New Look. Quality is surprisingly good - very comfy and of course cheap!

John Lewis had some in the sale that are very comfy. I actually purchase some nice reduce ones for a wedding in Otrium. Brandalley may have some reduced too.

Espadrilles or alpargatas, good brands to watch out Castañer, Paseart, Casa Alfaro, pretty much all made in Spain
