Getting very excited for our next box - due w/c 17th July!

It does say fastest selling. Did it sold out last year ? I can’t remember them selling out quite quickly

None of the advents sold out last year and most were reduced I think due to the COL so they may make less this year.

The most successful and fastest-selling product in our 147-year history, the 2022 Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar was a sell-out success.

F&M sold out - I had a last minute wobble and it was gone!

I haven't worked my way through them all yet but here's what I've tried so far:

Tocca - I'd already tried this and don't like it.

Diptique - inoffensive but I don't really like.

Debaser - already tried and I love it. Was really pleased to get this as I'd have bought it anyway.

Super Cedar - just tried and I love it but then I do love smelling like a forest :)

Sun Rae - don't like.

Morning Chess - undecided. Someone else said it was too much pine but I think it might not be enough pine for me, will retry.

Berber Blonde - this is a really nice orange blossom. Not my usual sort of scent but I might keep it for the occasional times I fancy smelling like orange blossom.

Jelly I used to think Escentric Molecules did nothing on me too then I started to use it as a layer with another scent and it seemed to take the perfume to another level, changed and really ramped up!

@EasterIssland @CinnamonCoffee im pretty sure the Liberty advent did sell out last year (and without a price reduction) - I was watching them like a hawk 😂

Mines arrived - I’ll be putting my unwanted items on vinted. Not tried any yet.

I always found I went noseblind quickly to Molecule 01 but would repeatedly get compliments on it, I think escentric molecules perfumes generally have quite a bit of sillage, moreso than you think when you're wearing it.

@EasterIssland they must be talking about previous years.
Liberty did reduce last year but not by as much as others. Some were reducing by half price. I remember because people were rightly not happy because liberty offered a GWP and then reduced. I think they then decided to remove them all as items showed up in some beauty kits.

Liberty advent calendars have done brilliantly for the past two years. They’ve taken a long time to sell. I think they did not live up to the inflated prices. Hopefully
this year they will make an effort and not raise the price any further. Tbh a lot of the calendars didn’t do well last year - Space NK heavily reduced and had a GWP too. Cult beauty wasn’t anything to write home about. I have to smile at the waitlist opening for Liberty and cult beauty - think they are being very optimistic. I do think the market is saturated and people are more wary about parting with large sums of money for products they may not necessarily like. I had fortnums in 2021 and it was amazing but last year it had risen in price and was too similar.

Duh typo - Liberty advent calendars HAVEN’T done brilliantly last two year!

I think Liberty and Cult Beauty have set up waitlists as a forecast to guide production volumes. They’re not stupid, they know money’s much tighter now and they don’t want to be stuck with unsold units after 1 December. I know I’m going to scrutinise the contents much more this year and if Liberty’s is as heavy on hair products as last year I just won’t bother.

Yes, I assumed they were trying to get an idea of how many to make.

I didn’t realise they didn’t sell well last year because of the CoL, it’s why I didn’t buy one until I saw them reduced in price at the last minute, then bought the Look Fantastic one AFTER Christmas at £70, thought it was so good I bought another for my sister at £50 (for this Christmas)!

I like to get two calendars, one to open every day in December and one to rip into on Christmas Day. So far that’s been two AFFORDABLE calendars though, not in the Cult Beauty/Liberty price league.

@Jellycats4life I already had the no1 Molecules. I can't smell it on me at all. Apparently you can layer it. I have had someone tell me how wonderful it smelt in a shop once, tho it's disapointing not to be able to smell it myself, even if only until I go nose blind! Probably won't re purchase.

Liberty had too many repeat products although they all seem to have sone repeats.

Please no Charlotte tilbury eyeshadows or Exfolikate this year.
