Found the t& c's for the GWP coming soon:

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE AUGUST 2023 BEAUTY GWP

2 Subject to Clause 3, this promotion applies to orders made on www.libertylondon.com from 00:00 (midnight) on 31st August 2023 until stocks of the gifts are exhausted.
3 From 00:00 (midnight) on 30th August 2023 the promotion will be open exclusively to The Beauty Drop subscribers online for 24 hours.
4 This promotion is available for delivery to the UK only.
5 Eligible customers are entitled to one free gift for every £175 spent on Beauty products, up to a maximum of three gifts per transaction.
6 The gift is worth over £350 and includes 17 products (exact products may vary):
Kate Somerville Exfolikate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash 50ml, Larry King Hair Spoilt For Choice Hair Oil 30ml, Chantecaille Radiance Elixir 4ml, OUAI Body Cleanser Melrose Place Deluxe 30ml, OUAI Leave In Conditioner 25ml, Dr. Barbara Sturm Super Anti-Aging Face Cream 3.5ml, REN Clean Skincare Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk 50ml, 111 Skin Oxygen Express Mask 30ml, Diptyque Figuier Candle 70g, Escentric Molecules M+ Discovery Set 3 x 8.5ml, Rose Inc Travel Size Brow Renew Eyebrow Gel 5g, Hair By Sam Mcknight Cool Girl Texture Mist 50ml, The Seated Queen Cassiopeia’s Serum Concentrate 10ml, Sisley Eau Efficace 30ml, Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Cream 8g, Trish McEvoy Gel Eyeliner 1.2g, Zelens Power A Or Power C Vitamin C Concentrate 10ml, Liberty Washbag

7 The following Beauty services will count towards the required £175 spend: Margaret Dabbs London Sole Spa, Ruffians Soho, Blink Brow Bar, Taylor Taylor London.
8 Pre-orders and/or purchases of The Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or The Liberty Men’s Advent Calendar will not count towards the required £175 spend. Liberty Gift Cards, Liberty Gift Coins, Liberty Loyalty vouchers or any other promotion or discount cannot be used towards the required spend for this promotion.

So BD members get 24 hours notice and you can't use any discount like BLC, and advent calendar doesn't count either.

viques · 27/08/2023 10:15

Thanks , that’s interesting, it’s a big GWP, but pricey, 17 items is almost like an advent calendar with the bits they couldn’t fit in the box. Didn’t know there was a mens advent calendar, they keep that one quiet. Off to investigate.

MotherofTerriers · 27/08/2023 10:26

No handbag :(

MavisMcMinty · 27/08/2023 10:28

I think my OH would stage a dirty protest if I bought him that AC.

SwordBilledHummingbird · 27/08/2023 10:32

I really like the look of the men's advent calendar... for me I mean!

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 27/08/2023 10:34

Well, that GWP doesn’t sound like it contains anything I need or even especially want.

But that’s fine. As with the advent, I’m glad not to be tempted for a change.

Pinenu · 27/08/2023 10:56

Ah I didn’t realise the GWP required a spend on beauty only. That’s me out as there’s definitely nothing beauty I’d be happy to spend my credit on.

A dress in the sales it is.

MavisMcMinty · 27/08/2023 11:08

Hmmm, not blown away by the description of the GWP. I might just keep my accrued credit for another day. Or I might see the picture and be swayed. I do need Paula’s Choice BHA toner, after all.

SirVixofVixHall · 27/08/2023 11:22

legosunqueen · 23/08/2023 20:56

Is there a link to the competition that can be shared please? I am still not getting the e mails...

Nor me. I suppose I will have to contact them about it, it is v annoying to miss stuff.

Ducksinthebath · 27/08/2023 14:42

I like the look of the men’s advent calendar much more than the other one.

wheresmyshoe · 27/08/2023 15:49

Thank you @Babysharkdoodoodood for the GWP detail.

This bit has annoyed me: Liberty Gift Cards, Liberty Gift Coins, Liberty Loyalty vouchers or any other promotion or discount cannot be used towards the required spend for this promotion.

I had a refund to a gift card for a faulty (Diptyque body oil) product that I would have used, I also have loyalty credit.

PinkFootstool · 27/08/2023 15:56

Ducksinthebath · 27/08/2023 14:42

Agreed.

And the GWP is a big nope from me. Shame, as my credit is burning a hole in my pocket😂😂

TragicMuse · 27/08/2023 16:20

Would purchase of the current kit be counted toward the purchase do you think?

HDready · 27/08/2023 18:04

@wheresmyshoe I think they mean that you can’t buy gift cards as part of the £175 purchase, but you can use gift cards you already have to pay for your purchase.

AprilLady · 27/08/2023 18:25

Agree GWP looks okay, but not great.

@viques those details are for last year’s fragrance calendar I think?

AprilLady · 27/08/2023 18:27

And the men’s calendar linked above also looks like the 2022 one?

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 27/08/2023 18:27

@wheresmyshoe I read it the same way as @HDready — I would think you’ll be fine. Things like this normally do have that line in the T&Cs to stop people effectively just deferring the spend by buying vouchers they can spend at a later date (e.g., in the sale when things are cheaper)

wheresmyshoe · 27/08/2023 18:43

Brilliant, thank you @HDready and @LemonJuiceFromConcentrate in that case I'll be in. I need some staple bits (pink drink, ouai, tubing mascara etc.) and I'm just not sold on the advent calendar this time.

Oh! Can you buy Liberty gift vouchers for yourself? Can you them to your own BD account? That might be what I need to do to get my credit up to a decent level in time for the sales!

I think the picture is , I thought the other info was ok, but maybe not!

ferretface · 27/08/2023 18:54

Tempted by the GWP - has a fair bit of hair and perfume stuff which I enjoy. Would just need to decide what to spend my credit on. I do also have a large stash which I should probably work my way through...

SwordBilledHummingbird · 27/08/2023 19:01

I also like the look of the GWP. I've already got my basket ready, a DS & Durga perfume I've been wanting for some time and some hair curl cream for my niece.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 27/08/2023 19:33

Hmm, I'm not sure? I imagine if you buy gift vouchers, anybody can use them. Or you could buy them and send them to a stunt email address of your own maybe... But I don't know if actual Liberty credit is given to the person buying the voucher, or the person who spends the voucher on actual products. It must be buried in the Ts & Cs, I guess.

I'm now actually doubting what I said to @wheresmyshoe as well Grin I really am not any kind of expert on how any of it works (but I hope it does work for you)
